Relay for life

There is an event this weekend 'Relay for Life' organized by National Cancer Society Malaysia. The event will start at 4pm until 10am the next morning. Yeap, it's an all-night event happening! Participants don’t sleep that night to signify how cancer never "sleeps".

I checked the itineraries and there are many cool program lineup. One of it is the inspirational Luminaria Ceremony which will happen at dusk, when cancer survivors are honoured and those who have lost their battle with the disease are remembered. Kalo aku ada kat stu sure sedeh gileh tableh tahan, because my mom is one of cancer patients who have lost the battle.

I wish i could participate, this is something that i definitely would join dolu2, but staying up overnight and then wake up early in the morning the following day is not my skill anymore. So if anyone interested to chill out and enjoy with a purpose, please sign up at National Cancer Society and you'll get a free tshirt + ID wrist band.
