Lunch @ Marmalade Bangsar with Marvic

We meet up with Marvic and her boyfie at Marmalade, Bangsar last week. Shemah and BellaEnveeus planned to join us earlier but unable to make it because shemah's daughter, Allie was having fever and Bella herself was down with flu. Sob sob tak dapat jumpe jugak the last time i met them was October 2010 at HRC. Anyways I had aglio olio and Jeeb had turkey & mushroom quiche.

Over the food, we borak2 lots of random things :) The bloggers (excluding Qeeb of course) Marvic, me and once in a blue moon blogger, bem69.

And then Marvic handed me this! One of the reason we meet up is to pass this gifts because i was announced as the lucky winner for christmas giveaway contest at her blog. Weeee!

There was a part where Qeeb got bored sitting in the babychair so he sat with us and started to pull things. And one of thing was a glass of coke! I yelped (can't help it because im a jumpy person), he was shocked and trus duduk kejung tak brani nak move an inch. Kelakar giler...nak marah pon tak jadik.

I also received this 2012 calendar via courier. Full of Emila Yusof's beautiful illustration with inspiring quotes. Nak beli pon sangat worth it, only RM15 at her online shop My Little Shop. Thank you guys for the nice gifts!

My last visit to Marmalade was in 2009. Back then they use different illustration (by Sarah Joan). And i ordered the same thing plak tuh! demmit kah kah kah! Can read the old entry here.

p.s: Note to self, never order mineral water when the waiter said "still mineral water" because it's freaking expensive. Baik beli juice :P

GLC Meetup @ KL City Walk

Thanks to soon expiring vouchers i bought at Groupon, i dragged bebudak GLC yang sudi temankan makan yogurt at 9Berries in KL City Walk. Since i do not know the exact location, and there is no specific car park...i was lost the minute i'm in jalan pinang. I saw all the connecting bridge, took a wrong turn, traffic jam, and cut the story short i parked illegally in front of BIMB, meet up with K.Fara and Shara in front of KL City Walk entrance and here we are at 9Berries :)

Looks fresh kan? And the taste is good indeed! There were 4 flavors original, strawberry, mango and blueberry.

Halfway through baru teringat about the dry toppings e.g cornflakes, cookies, koko krunch. Hampeh tuan kedai tak ingatkan. The original flavor was a bit masam and we should've request for Hershey's syrup but we forgot about this also. Leceh pulak asik nak kene mintak because mana nak ingat dalam list ada aper. Nonetheless, it was worth the money.

And then we stopped by Viva Mocha to have coffee and buat a little GLC project.

The place is quite small but interesting. 2nd floor interior is cozy enough to fit less than 20 pax and i love the chalkboard paint wall...in red!

When the barista started to brew our coffee downstairs, aaaahh the smell is like the most wonderful thing in the world. I ordered Cappucino btw. For me the coffee is considered thick so mmg sedap but tak patot sungguh dia bagi 1 sachet gula jer...mana cukup.

We continued our little project which is writing our new year's wish on piece of paper (pieces ekceli), then masukkan dalam envelope and sealed! These envelope to be opened somewhere near next new year's eve. But gambar tgh layan tulis takde pulok. And time nie I'm starting to feel nervous tingatkan keta yang parked illegal. Buatnyer kene saman or worst kene tarik T____T. Few pixies before nak balik with battery camera yang dah blinking low hadehh....

Say byeeee! Then we walked to my car and glad it's still there safe and sound hehe. But penat jer rasa nervous and tak senang duduk.

On another note, I was a bit surprised to see KL City Walk is quite dull at night and sad to say kinda dead when they're still new. Some of the eateries look interesting but somehow there is no huge crowd. Hope the place become more happening and alive after this.

GLC, Mommy D & Baby Ilyas

The GLC meetup with mommy D and her newborn baby for the first time. I went to D's house straight after the wedding in pjaya which explains why im in baju kurung heheh. Sesampai jer sana kak fara and kak moji dah ada...but dorang dah nak gerak balik dah sbb aku sampai lambat naw :( but takpalah as long betembung.

Where's the baby? Tadaaaaaa...say hello to baby Ilyas. Such a encem boy!

Qeeb duduk dengan sopan & sabar with his dad next to baby Ilyas. But takot jugak dia terkam sebab geram.

Sempat tgk ustaz bertahniq (menyuap manisan (tamar/kurma) or ada jugak orang panggil 'belah mulut'. And then sapukan pulak emas (in this case pakai cincin) sbb orang dolu2 kata nanti anak pandai mengaji.

Mengetest balik skill dukung newborn. Aaaahh i forgot how ringan baby's weight hehehe. Leh carry pakai sebelah tangan wpon baby position baring and the other hand can buat 'peace' sign dgn kacangnye.

Sempat gak jumpe ngan mommy-to-be Dani and Mukeh petang tuh. Last pix before we called it a day and go home.

Ushering dragon year in 2012 w00t! Water dragon to be exact according to my google search. Anyway, I would like to wish everyone who celebrate, GONG XI FA CAI! Enjoy some dragon pixies i took at Sg. Wang.

I didn't get the chance to visit other malls to capture the CNY decor except Midvalley. I think they just use lantern theme...no dragon thingy.

And one pix of me at the bukit bintang t-junction. It's been a while jalan2 this area at night. I think that place is becoming to look like new york dah with all the huge ads sign everywhere. But i still hate the insecure feeling when i walked from Sg Wang entrance to the t-junction due to bad lighting.

Wedding Nadzrul 2012

One of Jeeb's friends, Nadzrul (aka friction) got married on 14th Jan at Putrajaya. The food, kuih and cendol were nice. After makan, the guys kumpul satu meja...sakan sungguh tah hapa yang dorang borak, while the wifeys and fiance tunggu jelah kat tepi borak pasal dorang hahaha.

And then i checkout gegurl nearby to amik gambar with Qeeb. Dedua tak sanggup!

Atas stage kat pelamin pon iols sibok nak amik gambar heheh. If time and space permits, of course snap snap snap!

Wedding Anniversary Dinner 2012

We're in the third year of marriage and we're literally 3 - Cheep, me and Qeeb. Before we went to dinner, we started off by taking photos with our bouquets macam nak pegi prompt night hahaha.

Cheep made an extra effort to carik tempat makan yang best. So his colleague recommended this place, Kokopelli Travellers Bistro and oh boy it was an awesome pick! When we reached there baru abes ujan so time nak masuk tuh rasa cam feeling ala2 step into cafe's kat overseas. The space exactly macam palette pallete but this one more homey.

The interior decor...nice and kinda romantic. Ada few other sections yang sangat bes amik gambar plus a shelf yang jual macam2 benda kiut + books but segan pulak nak amik gambar. Besides nak pi sana to enjoy dinner not jonah amik gambar hehe. And another special thing about this place is Kokopelli is a 100% halal bistro that does not serve alcohol :)

There are lovely oldies played during the meals. So yeahh it's very relaxing and purfect!

We had appetizer deep fried calamari yang sangat sedap tapik sikit. But ekceli the portion is just nice for me to enjoy my main dish without rasa bloated.

Cheep ordered beef stroganoff. Sedap ohhh and the gravy is very creamy mmg kene ngan tastebud dia.

While i ordered their signature dish, char koay tiaw hehehe. Any signature dish is a must try maaa, because it must be good. And i totally agree because the koay tiaw is sooo sedap. Kene cuba baru tau.

For drinks we had Traffic (combination of fresh apple, orange juice and monin syrup) and Come Fly with Me (pineapple, soda and orange kot) hahaha tak ingat dah. Traffic glass size besor, lucky the guy who took our order pre-empt siap2. Because i don't think i can finish it.

Time for dessert! This one quite tough to choose because all the dessert looked very appetizing. I chose banoffe pie and Cheep chose creme brulee. I think mine was better ^.^

While still om nom nom the dessert, i shared this mini album with Cheep. Heheh just to reminisce our years together. Btw, I heart this mini album to bits, hope wedoo buat another promo because i plan to make a collection of it.

Then it's time to balik because Qeeb's bedtime is our curfew lol! Hati tak senang biler pikir dia nak tido takde our scents kat sebelah.

I also got ourselves a cake to mark year 3. I purposely carik this type of plain decor cake with swirls design camnie, and tadaaa i found it at groupon (again :P) by littlecupcakes Gosh i'm a groupon sucker! I put some red jelly beans to buat heart shape...jadik dak? hahahaha. And the last minute DIY mini banner tulis pakai sharpie jer :P

Btw, it was a rainbow cake to be exact. Since i took 1kg so dapat 3 layers of color jer...kalo 2kg dapat lah 6 layers. It was a nice simple cake, yeayyy!

Qeeb enjoyed accompanying us to take some family photos and cutting the cake.

Alhamdulillah our little celebration went smoothly. I'm blessed to have such an honest, creative & devoted (and annoying :P) husband who means the world to me! Sentiasa beringat that marriage isn't always easy, but at the end of the day it's so much more fulfilling to have a best friend as a husband who supports you, loves you and who will go through life's ups and downs with you. We still have a loooong way to go and i doa for more happy years to come, insya Allah.

Exchanged Bouquet

What Cheep got for me on our wedding anniversary, a bouquet of roses and a box of chocolate. A lovely surprise sent to my office. Looks like every year i'm expecting flowers dah nie ngeh ngeh.

And what i got for Cheep was a bouquet of chocs i've bought at groupon. Agak cheapskate but i prefer to call it budget management :P It's always the thoughts that counts.

We had an awesome date night at Kokopelli restaurant, i'll blog about it later. If any of you wondering ada hadiah lain ker? Nope just a happy tummy. I do not expect any other hadiah, because to spent sumer nih pon dah cecah ratus jugak. Knowing him, ada rezeki lebey jer dia akan trus bagi no need tunggu special event. Besides I married him because i want the man, not the bling wohooo! *ada yang muntah hijo* Ikhlas in relationship, syukur aper yang ada and yang penting sabar. Insya Allah like Cheep said we're in this for our lifetime.

p.s: sentiasa doa murah rezeki, kesihatan yang bagus to each one of us, dan rajin kejer untuk yang lebeh baik dan lebey besar. Amin.

Birthday Khairan 2012

We had dinner at Mr. Steakhouse, Laman Seri to celebrate Khairan's 12yo birthday which falls on 2nd January. He also got 3 cakes from his tok mama, aunty shua and aunty amy. One of the cake was strawberry marshmallow cheese from Secret Recipe and the other two were from A Slice of Heaven by Just Heavenly - raspberry torte and peach gateaux.

And why 3 cakes? Because nobody was communicating who's buying the cake lol! He's one happy boy that day!

Lawak tengok gambar atas nie...3 orang pilih menu sama pesen pegang dahi. Stress beno gayanyer. Qeeb jer yang cool belek menu with style.

Khairan picked this restaurant himself because he said the chicken chop sedap. But I was a bit full to makan benda heavy so i ordered something light tapik tak brapa nak light...sizzling seafood noodle (RM11.90) and unfortunately tak brapa sedap. Should've stick to chicken chop. Cheep had spare rib steak (RM18.90) and he said so-so jer rasa dia.

Wedding Fen 2012

The second wedding we attended early this year was Fen's reception at Seri Melayu restaurant. We missed the grand entrance and takde gambar ngan pengantin arrghhh...so i copied one photo from Alia's FB. What is a wedding entry without the pengantin innit kan?

Camera shy Qeeb neh asik tunduk jer everytime amik gambar. Aper benda lah yang dia tgk kat bawah tuh.

We sat on the same table with Mira's family. The food was good and pueh makan.

So is Qeeb apparently wpon makan beskot jer. Priceless gila dapat captured mulut dia tgh nganga camtuh sampai terangkat kening kah kah kah!

We didn't stay longer to amik gambar with the bride&groom because dah malam and penat kluar since pagi. But glad dapat catch up with Kusa & Mira, lama tak jumpe dorang nie wpon rumah dekat.

Wedding Nor 2012

In January alone, we received 3 wedding invitations from our friends' younger brother/sister. Lepas nie batch anak2 member pulak yang kawen. Time flies! So the first wedding for 2012 that we attended was adik D, noor arrifah at Cheras. Qeeb sejak cecah 1yo he won't allow any strangers to his eye to dukung him. So we were quite surprised when he sat quietly (with that serious expression) with Azhar and D until we finished our food. Amazing hehe.

After makan, we went to congratulate pengantin baru.

New Year's Eve 2012

We had a family & pot luck gathering at Mont Kiara on 31st December 2011. But the food part i sub to my sis heheh.

Almost all of us in front of the buffet spread. What we had that night were gado gado, bumbu ikan, cucur, bihun goreng, rendang ayam, 'Fu-pei' roll with chicken and prawn meat (had to refer to karen's blog for this name).

The xmas tree ornaments are like hanging toys waiting to be plucked. Full eyes and hands on Qeeb because he kept heading that way -.-'

My sis prepared this sago. What do guys think it looked like? With white round shape, small pink dot and full of milk! Quite obvious to everyone except my sis herself terbwahahaha ;)

Too bad we can't stay around longer till midnite to catch the fireworks. We had to go back to SA to attend Iman's birthday dinner as well. But no pixies to share because some of family members already changed to baju tidoq thehehe.

Glad that we managed to spend times with both sides of family at the end of year 2011 and beginning of new year 2012.

Weekend with Rugrats

It's been a while since i last took the rugrats to a movie. Dah janji musti kene tunai...so before habes cuti skolah i set a date to spend time ngan dorang eventhough i have to watch MI4 again hehe. Adly yang chose this movie, so beli je lah online trus. Didi wanted to watch 'We bought a Zoo" but he decided a bit late as i already bought the tix. Sampai rumah cheras, Lily sedeh tak dapat follow. Alamak tak pa2 next time achu bawak skali okeh! My bad, dolu sumer kecik2 lagik i can only handle two kids because i only have 2 hands maa nak pegang kiri kanan. I forgot sumer dah besar :-|

When we were at the cinema I asked Adly to find our seats...kasi pektis smooth sket mana tau pas nie nak bawak gf tgk movie hehe. He also passed as a gentleman in flying colors. Tolong carry my barang...after kuar washroom pon ambik balik barang frm my hand and tolong bawak. Baguihnyerrr anak buah cheq nie. No more derk2 cam dolu.

After the movie, pegi ronda2 kedai nike lah adidas lah...layan jer lah. Dorang pon jadik my mangsa kene posing sana sini. Win-win situation hehe. Yang geramnyer i brought my camera but no memory card. Terpaksa pakai phone jer haih. Here's Didi in front of Adidas store.

Dah balik Cheras i went out with my sis pulak. Gurls time! So we went to Viva Home...camho bit here and there. The xmas decor with fairytale theme turned out cun jugak!

Lucky thing Viva Home cuma banyak kedai jual home decor and pinggan mangkuk. So not all kedai tingin nak masuk kalo tak for sure lagik lah tak cukup masa.

We had late lunch at the Gurney Drive Food Village after turun naik carik cafe yang bes. End up pegi food court ordered some penang food and fuhhhh sampai skang tingat lagik the fried oyster! Sedap nyerrr no need to go to padang kota penang dah if i'm craving for this dish!

Such a wonderful weekend that i get to spent with my loved ones! Good food, nice movie and enjoyable company <3.

New year spree

Long weekend but not the usual lazying around at home weekend. On friday there are still piles of work to do but almost everybody tak sabar nk blk so heck tinggal jelah nk buat camno. On saturday we went to survey kedai spec at shah alam mall but the day was freakin' hot smp msk mall pon still bepeloh. Jeeb nak choose spec frame pon tak comfortable because...well his sweat dah macam air paip. Then bawak qeeb pi potong rambut ensem2 sbb nk pegi countdown new year at opah pat&wim. The house was pretty busy because MIL also preparing new year eve's dinner cum iman's birthday. But we had to join a bit later.

Off We went to mont kiara to meet up with the rest of my family. Makan2 till 10.30pm and we had to make a move. Too bad we can't stay for the firework. Reached home around 11.30pm and everybody tgh borak2 excited tunggu midnite. Qeeb pon mata dah buntang balik too much noise to sleep hehe. So when it strikes midnite dengar bunyik fireworks. We went out to the gaden but only managed to catch a glimpse of fireworks sbb banyak pokok block. So we went to the attic and tgk frm the balcony baru lah nampak sket frm i-city and dataran SA (i think).

The next day was maid's off day. So we dropped her off at KD and shoot to cheras for Nor's (adik D) wedding. Then lepas posing sket ngan pengantin and mak buyung we had a quick stop at umah my sis. Rushed blk SA...bergusti ngan qeeb smp dia tido pastuh kelam kabut bg dia dinner, freshen up, siapkan diri sendiri. Hoh berpelohhh! We drove back to KL to attend Fen's (adik kusa) wedding. We reached sri melayu around 8.40pm huhu lambat sudaaa. Qeeb behaved first part jer the rest dia dah restless and sibok nak jalan. And my baju pulak asik terbukak button biler dukung dia lasak. Aiyooo susah nk pakai kebaya camnie. Anyway, ingatkan dah balik umah, battery Qeeb dah abes but past midnite pon still ada energy to crawl sana sini.

Glad to woke up to another public holiday, boleh relax2. I was thinking nak bangun lambat sket but Qeeb's morning alarm bunyik cam biasa. Petang sket we went out to another shop at ss2 to find jeeb's spec then baru fetch our maid. Smp umah, the in laws dah gathered to celebrate khairan's bday. Sampai 3 cake tuh diaaa.... And tonite his bday dinner kat Laman Seri. Rasa cam tak smpt nk buat pape...kemas bilik, sort baju, office work, filing sumer tak sempat! Aaargghh tau2 jer dah mlm and tomoro kejer.

My Birthday Dinner 2011

Birthday girl get to choose where to eat bak kater my in-laws. Huhuhu besnyer but i do not want menyusahkan sumer by driving jauh2 because it's xmas eve sure jam, and i oso do not want the bills buat bijik mata terbeliak. So it's quite tough to choose tempat makan yang dekat, ada local+western dish with reasonable price and family friendly environment. Finally I settled with Monrods at Laman Seri Shah Alam after baca some reviews. Sib baik dapat buat reservation because if walk-in with 10pax sure susah nak carik tempat.

We had mushroom chicken chop, nasi ayam, fish & chip, samosa, pisang rebus, cocktails, sausages and kerabu mangga. Nak try their signature dish Nasi Ayam di Panggang tapik habes pulak so i had Nasi Ayam di Madu instead. The ayam quite besar but i'm not a fan of isik tebal so susah jugak nak abeskan and the kuah tak cukup mengancam. Right pix is tutti fruity blended (recommended) and apple sodaz.

Yang besnyer situ ada live performance and this guy sora dia mmg best! Time dah nak abes makan tuh FIL request this guy to sing happy birthday to me hehehe. Niceeeee :)

My Birthday 2011

Nak siapkan dengan pantas my birthday celebration for this year before tukaq taun 2012. Ish backlogged lagik. This year i got to celebrate with everyone in the family so yeayyy! First, I went out on a date with Cheep. We watched MI4-Ghost Protocol at GSC OU. The movie was great, Tom Cruise mmg sediakala hebat, fight scene best but me no likey Paula Patton (as Jane). Tak habes2 buat muka stress and painful expression kat almost all scenes. Then lepas abes movie, we went to check out OU 'new' old wing sampai kelaparan tapik asik nak tersinggah macam2 kedai. Biler dah tahap kebuloq baru gi carik tempat makan. I chose to have penang food because dalam kepala dah terbayang laksa and char koay tiaw. So we checked in at Simply Penang. Ordered additional dishes like popiah basah and lorbak. Sedap ohhh lorbak tuh!

Then pi nengok xmas decor winter waterland at the new wing. Memang ada nampak cam dalam air and gotta love all the details. Kitowang balik when my kaki dah tak larat nak jalan lagik dah.

Oh yea my birthday cake for this year - Tiramisu ^.^

This year ada orang teman potong cake sesamer hehe.

Countdown to 2012

2 more days to 2012. I'm feeling so festive and i do not want it to end! I loooove december so much. My birthday falls in december but it's not just that. Takleh nak describe the jolly feeling. Maybe because it's around xmas time so all the colorful decor makes me happy. Or maybe cuti sekolah and ramai yang amik cuti so the road is clear and takde jam langsung! Banyak lagik other things that contribute to rasa happy.

But i cannot shake the nervous feeling knowing what's waiting for me on the first week of January itself. Soooo many deadlines and i'm not even halfway done. So yeah...i'm worry about my work, kpi and confirmation. Anyhoo, hope 2012 dipermudahkan urusan dan murah rezeki.

I wanna wrap up my 2011 wishlist/checklist and syukur with what i have. Rupa2 nyer 2010 takde list cisss...takleh nak compare! Sebab baca balik yang 2009 bes jugak because mana nak ingat dolu mengidam and frust sbb aper.

Change job. This year i managed to tukar kejer wpon 3 kali.
Less traffic stress. I love my new office area because no kl traffic nightmare pagi petang. Eventho for temporary period because we'll be moving back to KL T___T but i'm still thankful.
Parking luxury. Cheap indoor parking rate. With the car condition yang bocor & betampal ngan selotep i'm thankful dapat park dlm building with ample parking space.
Children. Alhamdulillah my son, Qeeb membesar dengan sehat dan kuat. He is now 1yo+. There's still part of me yang okwed nak mention "my son.../ anak i...." biler beborak. Kalo beborak ngan yang dah kenal senang because i prefer to mention his name instead of kata ganti. Tahpapentah.
Less Game. I managed to kurangkan main game. Except tiny towers...itupon biler tingat. The fact is tak de masa pon because i treasure my sleep rather than bersengkang mata to level up.
Vacation. This year mmg takde vacation. Timing slalu tak kene. We even missed family vacation to Bali because Jeeb busy with work and i just started working in a new company....sad :(
New car. Was thinking to get a new car because driving pleasure dah kurang :P My bad tak maintain elok2. Siap pegi test drive keta idaman but niat terbantot because if nak tolak current car market rate makin drop, i have to top up the settlement and kene bayar deposit. Erghhh nanti2 lah.
Move out. We are still not seriously looking for a house. Kan senang kalo ada area yang dah berkenan, rumah cantik, dapat pulak harga yang affordable trus boleh beli. Nih tak, nak kene search harga rumah yang 'logic' and biler dah jumpe only to find out that the location is like humang-aih-jauhnye-drive-sejam-lebey-pon-x-sampai.
Lose weight. Errrr slalu goyah biler nampak food sedap and biler orang ajak makan.
365 project. Take a photo a day and upload it to my mobile blog because i wanna be able to look back at any day the year and recall what i did. Tak kesampaian tang nak upload tiap2 hari tuh....but my mblog entries for this year is 219 yo! w00t!
Blogging. The best way to document moments and thoughts. Entries this year agak dropped compared to last year. I should target to post early and post often to avoid backlogged because nanti rasa overwhelmed trus malas nak buat.

Also for next year, i wish for a good health, exercise more, family bonding, spend more domestic thingy, pro-active and focus time kejer, curik masa dating ngan Jeeb, explore educational games with Qeeb, rajin masak *cough*, be more positive towards everything, etc. Pendek kata sumer yang elok2 dan yang baik2 lah. Also smoga our country kekal aman damai.

Rombongan che'kiah melawat Mas when we received a good news from herself that she's already discharged from SJMC and can go home. Yang dapat datang on dat day were kak moji, D, dani, shara and me. Zaza anak dia demam and kak fara pulak kene attend kenduri. Shara telah membaking red velvet cake spesel for this meetup. Sedap woooo tambah pulak ngan ayaq teh o mama mas buat!

Sesambil borak tuh sempat jugak update buku GLC hehe. Entry yang lebih panjang lebar kat belog ceciterkami. Kesah eksiden di belog Mas.

Sweet Tooth Paradise in KLCC

We explored some new shops in KLCC mostly the snacking area. The first one was Isetan Food Market. I uploaded some pix in mobile blog Part I and Part II. Then we went to check out Garrett Popcorn, Candylicious and Bruno Gelato. They were all in the same row attracting the sweet tooth to drool.

There was a signboard saying the candies were rather shy to take photo but being kiasu i cannot help myself! It's like a candyland in there...it's too colorful not to take photos. More candy shots at mobile blog if you wanna see what kind of candies and merchandise they sell. Taken during my earlier trip with the GLC - candy i, candy ii, candy iii, candy iv (hohoho over sampai 5 entries). Check out the jellybeans....tons and bebalang2 of it! Huarghhhh!

And the lollies from size s to XL!

Here comes the most talkabout popcorn that made both of us very curious dgn kesedapannyer-Garret popcorn from Chicago. The price? RM16 (small), RM21 (medium), RM26 (large) and ada range yang cecah ratus koh koh..i think dat one comes with box kot. We queued and bought large size Caramel Crisp and homaigosh sedap gila. I have to make sure ada air kosong dalam tangan though sbb manis gila. If nak compare ngan popcorn kat TGV/ GSC tuh...you can see 60% color putih and the caramel celah2 gituh jer...if you eat this, it's like 100% salut ngan caramel. Osemness!

Not to forget the xmas decor which is one of my routine every year to amik gambar heheh.

For me xmas decor in KLCC so far tak penah achieve level wowowow compared to pavillion, one utama and the curve. Maybe it's because they have limited horizontal space. If vertically they have all the height which i think that's the reason why they use the same tallest xmas tree for many years in a row hahaha. Glad that tree is nowhere to be found this year.

Irina's 2yo Birthday

A couple of weeks ago, kak liza threw a birthday party celebration for Irina at Kiz Sports & Gym at Empire Shopping Gallery. Baru tau that 2nd floor banyak offer edutainment for kids like baking class, dance space, art class, plaster house etc. Very very interesting...cuma sediakan duit jer huhu.

First we have to register at the counter under irina's birthday party. Qeeb got himself a sticker with his name on and tickets for all of us. Have to remember bawak socks because one of the main rules is that socks must be worn by both adults and children in the playland at all times. But if takde socks, they do sell it at RM5.90.

We went straight for breakfast because it was only 11am at that time. Ada nasi lemak, roti jala, sandwiches, nuggets, karipap, kuih koci, cocktail sausage. All of us duduk cam kat skolah tadika with mini tables and chairs and yeah i feel like a giant because it only covers like erm 60% of my butt.

After makan we can straightaway main in the playland. For kids under 2yo boleh main 2 sections if dah beso can play in the main playland. So we took Qeeb for a warm up...kasik naik aeroplane dolu hehe.

Then baru we threw him in the pool of balls. He was so excited picking balls and tendang2 kaki sambil duduk. But not aggressive enough to swim and crawling dalam tuh hahaha. Malas nak tolak bola ler tuh.

Of course we also wanted to join the fun! Just sitting in there pon dah rasa happy hahaha. But don't worry no balls were harmed when this photos were taken...because i've checked :P all balls yang terduduk tuh automatically back to normal shape. And then there were few other sections we explored. Mmg Qeeb pueh main lah with all the bikes and slides.

Trip to KL Bird Park

Our first time to KL Bird Park weeee!!! When we arrived, there was a long car queue but we were lucky dapat jugak masuk car park eventho we had to pusing 4 kali baru dpt parking space. I would rather go merry-go-round inside the parking area rather than stucked behind the queues trying to get inside the car park not knowing the real reason that caused the jam was tourist bus parked sukahati blocking the road.

The entrance fees are RM20 for adult and RM10 for kids. If ada Jcard, plusmiles, metrojaya or realrewards card, tix price discounted to RM15. But i got better offer at everyday.com.my with 50% off we only spent RM20 for 2 tickets.Since Khairan joined us at last minute, we've paid his tix at normal price (kid).

There was a bird ready with surveillance camera when we entered the bird park area hehe. But fret not, i'm equipped with tickets for everyone!

A peacock parading above our head. Memang dasar attention seeker peacock nie hahaha :P But gotta admit peacock has beautiful tail.

Pelican is a large water bird with a large throat pouch. If tengok dari jauh rasa cam decor yg orang slalu letak kat pond or pelican shape boat ride kat tasik :P I have to see upclose baru percaya it's a real bird! Biler dia terbang agak skeri lah because kang beak sampai dolu naya jer hahaha.

Qeeb muka cengang tgk birds everywhere. Slalu dengar birds chirping every morning from our room but now he got to see many types of bird with sounds.

Where do we go next? To the Flamingo terrace and pond! I wish i have a babywearing at that time. Since berangan jer ada...mmg kitowang eksesais kaw2 that day gilir2 pegang. Stroller helps a lot but there are times it was easier to carry Qeeb so we can show him the surrounding.

At the flamingo pond with some sleeping flamingos i believe. Still kagum tang mana lah yang comfortable kalo tido gaya camnie.

Along the way banyak jumpe peacock. Ada yang kembang ada yang relax but mostly sumer bising hehe. "Do you know the male is called a peacock, the female a peahen, and the babies peachicks. So actually we're supposed to call them peafowl."

And this is my favourite of all - woodsy owl! Sangat2 cute occay....trus cair tgk wpon tido je keje dia. I feel like having this owl as a pet can kaa?

Right after this photo was taken, when i took 2 steps in front there were massive shotgun waterfall from above. Fuhhhh sib baik tak kene the birds cherryberry or else mmg i called it off and paksa sumer orang balik.

Anxiety Attack

Smalam saya sangat2 emo for no apparent reason. Too busy siapkan presentation slide until the very last minute smp tak sempat makan proper lunch. I had roti and 1 karipap. Then rush pi meeting kat luar which was supposed to start at 3pm. Kuar frm office around 2.30...mistake no. 1 since i'm not familiar with the jalan frm my office. Sampai jalan travers it was a bit jam and then nk masuk jalan damansara ada jam lagik beso! and then i took a wrong turn yang kene lalu kawasan rumah :-/

Dah start drive cam orang giler redah all the bumps. Tiba2 kuar kat area kompleks kerajaan. Jalan becabang2 and im lost tatau nak ikot mana. I randomly pick one skali pusing blk jalan bangsar. Takkan nak rempuh balik jam tadik. So i make u-turn but sama jer jam nyer sbb banyak traffic light. At that time lg 10mins to 3pm...serious rasa cam nak givap pegi sana but unfortunately nobody has the presentation slide except me >.< mistake no. 2 always bagi softcopy + hardcopy to everyone yang attend the meeting. I had to sms my boss cakap im stuck in the traffic. I called cheep because i dunno where im going! Cheep gave some direction and then i saw familiar signboard and jalan macam nak pi taman tasik perdana (sib baik baru je pegi kl bird park so ingat2 lupa).

Rupanyer another big jam waiting for me kat roundabout cinonet tuh dahler matahari terik buat saket kepala. Dari jauh dah nampak landmark...haih so close yet so far. But at least i know im in the right direction, trying to think positive as much as i can. At the same time i tried to fwd the slide to my boss but sana takde internet pulak to retrieve it. Mabuk occay multitasking dalam keta campor anxiety nk cepat sampai + stress.

3.40pm i reached the building and safely found my parking in the basement but i had to take staircase smp lobby because i couldn't find the lift. Mengahhh macik! Sampai bilik meeting, trus masuk sengih2 cam kerang busuk. Gilti gila when i saw my boss had to present pakai whiteboard dolu. My head dah start throbbing and perot dah masuk angin. Tetiba my boss asked pelan2 "do u want to present?" Trus kuar sora kucen "Takpelah....". Thanks to him sbb don't mind to buat the presentation but in my head tgh kira agak2 brapa lah KPI aku kene tolak nie dahler datang meeting lambat >.<

Around 6 i made a move...bayar parking fee yang sangat mahal RM9 only to realize i lost the receipt. So now cannot claim huk huk! Time nak drive balik pon, i made wrong choice pilih jalan. Mistake no. 3, tak visualize dolu where i wanted to go. Padahal ada jalan lain lagik dekat. End up i was stuck in da traffic for 20mins NOT MOVING at all! Giler down yaamatz time tuh sbb rasa cam klutz! I text Cheep cakap nak pi somewhere to chill because i don't feel like talking to anyone if i go back straight. Cheep trus called tanya am i ok? I said x brapa ok...cebik... and lepas tuh....omg trus triak! emo gila dohhh! Sure ada few cars nampak sorang macik pakai baju kurung melalak dalam keta. I knew it im gonna cry if i talked to Cheep, that's why i text him instead. Yang dia plak pi call sbb nak check. Lepas tuh gelak2 kan aku punyer stress level. But lega lah sket lepas tuh besides it's Friday sok tayah pikiaq kejer.

I went to Pyramid after that but i just browsed 1 floor dalam jusco jer because that's the nearest store from car park. Lepas tuh balik sbb dah tatahan pening and kelaparan. Time nak kuar from parking pon salah pilih jalan gak nak exit sampai kene pusing 2 kali :( Memang king klutz lah that day haih!

Moral of the story, jangan biarkan perot kelaparan kot.

GLC Nov @ Coffee and Spice

November meetup took place at Coffee & Spice at KLCC. The place was formerly run by Delifrance. Basically i noticed a lot of new shops open in KLCC! I was surprised to see banyak pulak lagik space2 yang before nih tak penah wujud. I was the last one to arrive because i can only go out after 6pm itu pon mencicit lari takot tetiba ada kejer datang and driving from Bangsar South took 40mins termasuk jam. So not bad lah jugak tuh ;)

My food and drink sampai lambat because the waiter forgot to place my order ghhrrr. Sib baik tgh busy borak so takdelah rasa lama giler tunggu sambil telan ABC D punye (kelakar tak kelakar tak hehe). I had nasik lemak bungkus and white coffee btw. I wonder why there's a huge price difference between nasi lemak bungkus yang ada rendang ayam (RM4.80) dengan nasik lemak ayam rendang on the plate (RM9+). Of course i opt the cheaper nasi lemak besides makan alas daun pisang lagik sedap. The white coffee was nice and thick! Nyummm!

Kak Fara tolong belikan cupcakes @ Bisou to celebrate Shara's birthday which fall on 19 Nov. Coincidentally that day 25 Nov was actually Mas's birthday. Sad that we can't celebrate with her as she's still in Hospital Temerloh recovering from the motorbike accident.

Happy belated birthday Shara!

Even though i forgot to bring the GLC book because i thought plan tak jadik, i suggested everyone to write on piece of paper first. Later i tampal dalam buku huhuh. Gigih la macik bawak kertas, pen and scissors! It was fun to see everyone spent sometime to put their thoughts into the paper. Kak Fara tulis berjela2....dah macam batu bersurat occay hahaha! Kak Moji plak start lambat sbb dok tgk orang punyer nak carik idea tulis aper. D plak tulis simple giler sbb tak sempat nak google and research dolu. While Shara tulis point form about everyone siap time stamp lagik.

After dinner we headed to a couple of new stores near Uniqlo. One of the reason i wanted to go to KLCC because nak check out Candylicious, Garret popcorn and Isetan food market. But since terborak lebeh we didn't have much time left and everyone have to rush back. So it was a brisk ooohh aaaah walkthrough at candylicious.

Heavy Hershey's syrup? Not.

And the most talk about Garret popcorn shop. See the long queue >.< and no i did not buy any candy or popcorn that night hehe.

It's quite hot that day and we started to sweat like mad, that's when we decided to call it a day. Sorry boys, next time dah pandai kayuh you can play on your own while mommies watch from under the shade heheh.

The Birthday Boy Who Turns 1yo

I've posted many pics of peeps and birthday stuff, so i made this one special entry for Qeeb only. Qeeb's birthday falls on Sunday so it was perfect to celebrate on the birth date itself. The not so great part was his mood. He was overwhelmed with all the attention that he decided he didn't want to socialize....at all. On the bright side he did not smashed his own birthday cake in spite of the resistance. And guess who blew the candle? The parents obviously hehe.

I'm not sure how we suddenly came to another round of birthday song. But i was hoping Qeeb dah warm up by this time and look at the cake with glee.

Tettttt it's the other way round. Qeeb ended up bursting into tears egegege. One of Qeeb's trait is he do not like loud sound including gelak kuat2. Jiwa sentimental oh budak nie wpon muka serious....kenot talk or laugh too loud in front of him.

I had one or two proper potrait photos with Qeeb. Not much because nak posing at that time seems so time consuming.

When all the guests dah balik, we wind down and chilled with Qeeb. With a little help, Qeeb unwrapped the presents by himself. Sangat seriously excited dapat hadiah sampai tatau mana satu nak main dolu. Hehe thanks everyone yang bagi hadiah in any form :)

Btw, I have a confession...i did something silly on Qeeb's birthday. It even started the night before where i observed Qeeb's behaviour looking for similarity or clue before he popped out one year ago. When me and Cheep watched Desperate Housewives last year frm midnight till Suboh, Qeeb wasn't really active dalam perot. This year he was asleep through the night. Around 12pm last year Qeeb was busy wiggled his way out to see the world, but this year he took a nap from 12pm till 2pm! So kesimpulannyer, mana de orang buat benda yang sama pada time yang sama the year before. Haih silly me! Unless it's a movie...a dejavu movie.

The One Who Celebrated Qeeb's Birthday

Citer birthday tak habis lagik because i feel like sharing all the photos hehe. Lebey kurang cam nak post entry kenduri kawen lah, start with the preparation, then citer psl nikah, last skali baru masuk citer reception :P So that's a hint ada one more entry lepas nie ekekeke!

Qeeb's Yellow & Blue Birthday Theme

We survived the preparation for Qeeb's 1st birthday party *hurray*. It was a big deal for me because it was my first time to organize a theme birthday party. Lemme share the preparation part because biler tingat balik mmg kelako sbb duduk sampai kebas2, tangan melecet2 asik menggunting. And the day before I have to be in the office for group discussion until 6pm...of all days! Only few hours left to run around to get some staff. But it was all worth it! Let the madness of DIY-ing begin.

1. Theme

Cheep chose car theme so he designed this and i got it printed. Sangat kiut and i love the car design because i can do macam2 with it!

2. Location

The party buat kat rumah jer considering the fact Qeeb boleh tido and bangun sukati. Kalo buat kat tempat lain susah nak kene ikot his nap time. Besides kalo nak decorate kene pegi that place in advance ulang alik. Im not sure about cost though maybe next time can check out place like mcD, A&W, KFC. I wanted to utilize the outdoor area but a risk jugak lah because it's a rainy season. Alhamdulillah hujan stop right before we start the party and hujan again heavily when everybody dah balik.

3. Decor

It was tough to refrained myself from buying all the things in the market yang i can match here and there. But biler pikir balik mana nak letak mendalah tuh sumer after party? soo terpaksa lupakan saja. I decided to make use of the garden so I made this :) I used marker pen and draw beso2 the words, thicken the outline, potong sket ikot shape and siappp. Then i need a place to tampal this thing, maka garden fence FIL jadik mangsa. Abes inovatip dah rasa hahaha. I actually visualize more balloons...helium balloons ekceli so it can stand but heck...nak singgah pegi beli belon pon tak sempat. Sempatlah gantung dua belon cipot itu to add some colors.

All the balloons were tiup by Cheep the night before...in the bathroom. Bilik lak fully occupied by me yg tgh prepare the goodies bag. Coincidentally the whole day takde air so the bathroom totally kering and make it the best place to gather balloons in the bath tub :P Gilos pump belon sampai kol 3 pagi.

4. Props for Photobooth
Found this template kat tenet and printed it out. Gunting2 ikot shape and i used chopstick as handle. Why? Because it's cheap, sturdy and safer than batang sate yang tajam. Eventhough the size is short but it serves the purpose.

5. All the Small Small Things
Custom mineral water label. Buang the original label and replaced with Qeeb's own tag.

I also cut the car shape for topper. Just wanted to make use all the tags because we still got tons of it!

Martha Stewart's cardboard cake tier pinjam my sis punyer. Takdelah ngeri kalo this thing toppled compared to pakai kaca.

Lollipop bouquet arranged by my sis. Mmmg buat meja nampak colorful! If you're interested just pm me and i can refer you to my sis. The price is depends on type of lollies plus kos upah sket :)

6. Goodies Bag
So happy managed to jumpe this bag yang ikot color theme. I put one snacks, bubbles, coloring sheet and crayon. Then the guests can collect lollies from the candy buffet table and put inside the bag. I prepared this with only night lamp on because i dowan to disturb Qeeb's beautiful sleep *roll eyes*. Kang dia terbangun takleh buat kejer. Memang agak kegelapannn lah buat kejer time tuh.

The coloring sheet yang Cheep lukis special for Qeeb's birthday. x sempat take pictures of bubbles and crayon.

7. Food

Since i don't know how to cook let alone nak masak banyak2 tok guests so we have to opt for caterer. Kalo terel masak mmg jimat lah. On the day itself, the caterer sampai lambat! Omg, at first i tried to relax because baru habes hujan. But when the guest started to arrive and the caterer tak nampak2 lagik i started to panic and called uncle yang i liaised with. The staff arrived almost 30mins later when i was just about to come out with mitigation plan to call Dominos Pizza. I ordered minom petang punyer food like mihun goreng, roti jala, fried chicken, sosej and kuih2. My MIL also tolong tambah pasta.

8. Birthday Cake

One of the most important thing in birthday party - Birthday Cake for birthday boy of course! This one ordered from my SIL's mader in law, aunty Merlin. I just mentioned it's a car-theme birthday and she baked this! Wowww surprisingly it matched with the color yang Cheep designed on the card. And this car ada black rim...how cool is that!

Thanks to hubby Cheep yang melayan kerenah wifey mintak itu ini, pump and gantung belon sampai hilang few kilos, menampal props bagai eventhough he don't understand why i wanna do it in the first place. Yang penting layaaaaan and support jer :) Glad Qeeb got his 1st birthday run smoothly.

Bubs Art Attack

Qeeb went to his first art class last weekend *thrilled!* I saw the promotion at MilkADeal and very the excited to try...i mean for Qeeb to try! Zaza and Pizet also bought the bait but unfortunately Pizet couldn't make it at last minute. The class was at a kindy called Baby Faculty in Setia Alam and we reached there around 9.30am. I fell in love with this area btw.

We started with the clay where we can choose either hand print or foot print. We opt for foot print since Qeeb refused to put his hand on the dough. And then we stirred something that looks like bicarbonate soda to me with water and tuang kat dough.

While waiting for the clay to dry, we moved to the coloring station. There were strings provided as painting tools but dapat kat Qeeb dia campak2 jer sumer tuh. So we use our bare hands and get messy! I thought i was well prepared pakaikan Qeeb this 'uniform' but i forgot lil Picasso wants to 'hug' his mommy biler dah boring. I'm the one who should be wearing the uniform -.-'

Haaaaaa tuh dia clashing colors of pepel, green, yellow and red! It's too abstract so yeah we just leave it at that.

Nak squish ker, splat ker, seret lah lagu mana pon takpa. Nak lap tangan kat my jeans and my white baby-G pon takpaaaaa! I keep reminding myself its washable coloring material. Which is true! Senang gila nak remove all the coloring, pakai wipes jer pon dah ok.

Qeeb now has foot print plaster. The cute size of 13cm feet can be framed for keepsakes :) Lepas nie kaki besar gabak tak de orang sanggup buat clay occay!

By the end of the art class we got ourselves baby’s footprint in clay and baby’s ~~string~~ art masterpiece. Qeeb and Ali also explored outdoor together (eventhough it's not part of the package) macam playdate gitu which i will share their adventure in the next entry.

The soon to be 1yo boy

The precious 12 months are almost at an end! Qeeb is turning to 1 year old very very soon.

So what now? It's time to plan the first birthday party lahhh! I know the fact that Qeeb won't remember a thing about this day. But in a way it's like a celebration for me and Cheep for making it through baby's first year! Hu yeahhh!

But i'm in a state of dilemma to do anything now. Qeeb demam since last Tuesday. His temperature time tuh was 38.5 and the doc said his tonsil swollen. By Thursday demam dah macam kebah. But today (Friday) banyak rashes appear kat badan and ada sket kat muka. I really hope it's just a three-day fever and nothing else. Insya Allah. Tomorrow morning i'm going to take him to clinic and mintak2 bukan measles or denggi dan pape yang sewaktu dengannyer.

So the plan to organize a small makan2 gathering with family & friends terbantut sudaaaa. I just want him to fully recover because i already miss the bouncy Qeeb.

Nota kaki: Rupa2nyer ada jugak prasaan tak lalu makan biler rungsing. Because tonite i skip dinner and tak rasa lapaq langsung.

MEPS Appreciation Dinner

The dinner was held at Boulevard Hotel, MidValley. It was our final week as M*PS staff so it was kinda like a farewell dinner.

No performance, no singing, etc. Just 2 simple speech, makan2 annnndddd only one lucky draw prize giveaway, a PS3! Haih the one lucky winner who walked away with the PS3 wasn't me obviously.

Back to my own table with Yati, Sara and Rina. Yang dua kiri tuh kenal since first day at work because we attended induction training together. Yati will be staying in M*PS and tak join the rest of us ke MyCl*ar :( Oh there was also a slide presentation yang flashback zaman dolu2 dgn background music 'standing in the eyes of the world-ella'. Ada jugak lah rasa sad when watching the photo slide eventho aku takde pon lagik time tuh. So it must be more heartwrenching for staff yang dah lama ngan M*PS.

The food ada yang sedap ada yang so-so. Yang keciwanyer roast lamb dia sangat sedap when i tumpang2 rasa orang punyer. But when i want to take my own dah habesss pulak! By the time event dah nak habes, dorang baru replenish all the food including the roast lamb. Daymmm....dah nak balik pulak time tuh.

When i'm on my way to car park was around 9.30pm. I was really in a hurry to get back sbb dah Qeeb punyer bedtime and he must be looking for me. BUT nak jadik citer aku ngengada naik keta Rina wpon keta aku one floor below jer. Can nampak my car summore from kereta Rina. Biler turun rupanya trus ke section H and biler nak naik balik dah tak jumpe jalan to section G. Pusing punyer pusing in the neverending maze sampai 20mins dowh! Giler punyer parking....nak cepat jadik lagik lambat. Sian Rina...sib baik dia cool jer and gigih nak carik when i insisted her to drop me off kat mana2 pintu masuk mall so i can carik sendiri. I think this is the 2nd time i'm lost in the same car park mmg rasa dejavu giler -.- kalo tix tuh kene bayar kat autopay sure dah tak valid sbb lama sangat carik keta.

Caden's 2yo Birthday Party

On the same day we went to beraya umah K.Fara, we went to Karen's house right after for Caden's birthday party. My sis and the family were already there and everybody else were about to start eating when we arrived *phew*

We had grill chicken wings, coleslaw, mashed potatoes, meehoon and DIY popiah (this one is my favourite)! My sis added some raya food like nasi impit, rendang and kuah kacang. Rajinnye masak! Here's Caden the birthday boy just woke up from his nap for the birthday party :)

Vanilla layer for birthday cake. Karen did the Mickey's head herself and the cute mini banner *clap clap*

Big brother Caden with cousin Nicky played birthday song together while everybody sing and cheer.

Caden all set to blow the candles and cut the cake. The cake was really sedap and something different for me.

Cavan helped to distribute party favours. Snacks for the babies and pinatas for kids. Well ekceli not just for the kids because i also want the pinatas hehehe.

I had a good time opening the pinatas at home and pour out all the contents! I feel like kids digging the pinatas in case there's still candies left inside. While Cheep smiled looking at the candies knowing that he can have all of 'em by himself.

Macam bears dalam citer Goldilocks and the 3 bears. Ada size papa bear, mama bear and baby bear hehe!

I thought working 3 months in C*smo is the shortest working period and i swear i'm not gonna pull that kind of stunt again because it will look bad in my CV jump kejer cepat sgt. But rupa2nyer kejer kat M*PS pecah record 2 months jer. Little did I know that the acquisition with BNM took place too soon.

Kat M*PS nih I discovered banyak coincidence like my boss penah seopis ngan my FIL in one of the bank dolu. Kekami's ex-boss pulak is Finance Manager kat sini. Then I found out that Izk my team kawan sepaintball ngan Kusa. Kak Mas plak duduk sekampung kat BTR. We even bumped into each other kat pusara Cheras Baru on 1st day raya. Once, dalam lif K.Ju said i looked so familiar and biler borak2 baru tingat i knew her kat SIRIM time buat practical dolu. The latest was when Shukry out of the blue, asked me whether i know Darwis when kejer kat C*smo which yeah i do. Depa dolu pon ex-opismate jugak. And then not too mention kat sini jer ada 4 ex-Pern*c which 2 of em are my bosses now! Such a small world kannnn?!

Disebabkan acquisition nie banyak benda yang kitowang kene buat and it's a totally new experience for me. Signed surat benti beramai2, signed new offer letter beramai2 (ini penah buat time kat MMSC dolu), ada yang kene pindah floor, pc kene audit, kene backup and archive macam2 benda before our network to M*PS kene totally cutoff, kene return all M*PS assets, dah tak boleh access floor lain, etc and now dah kene start pakai email address baru. Ohhh sedeh! But the nice part is the mgmt tried to make the transition really2 smooth and painless as much as they can. Salute to that!

Intro punyer lah panjang....nih baru nak citer apsal poyo sangat posing2 pakai unipom. Sebabnyer kitowang kene submit dept photo for the upcoming newsletter yang CorpComm nak publish. Tok menunjukkan betapa hardcore and love M*PS to death punyer pasal we set to amik gambar on Friday where mmg wajib everyone to wear unipom sbb kalo ari lain kang konpem ada yang terlupa nak pakai. Nak submit gambarnyer sekeping jer but we took berkeping2 shots. Of course nak tgk mana yang paling best lah katakan.

Among GLC team, we were the last one to arrive at K.Fara's house on that day! Sib baik sumer tak balik lagik hohoho....sorry uols! VIP kecik terlajak tidoq. Nih la dia ketibaan mak ~~datin~~ budak....sila bagi laluan.

Since we were in a hurry, i packed Qeeb's lunch kalo tak kang mau lagik lambat sampai. Memang dia tgh kebuloq time tuh sbb diam jer duduk sampai habis licin makan.

Om nom nom. Thanks to Mas or saper2 yang pegang my camera time nie. Biler dah balik umah, baru sempat tgk gambar dalam camera and surprised ada banyak gambar bes bes hehe. I lebiuols!

Kak Fara served mee rebus (sedap wooo), nugget, drummet. Asam pedas pon ada but takde chance nak makan sbb kenyang makan mee rebus. Arrgh rugi rugi! Tengok ler si mas ngan jannah nie bercamho ngan anak bujang cheq oiiii!!

Other than makan, amik gambar bagai, we also took a minute to wrote something in the GLC Book. Attendance was considered 100% excluding zaza (exceptional case) dikira as a big record lah jugak hehe. Shara wrote her first entry in the GLC Book dengan semangat while kak moji tak sempat nak tulis because her hands were full nak jaga anak.

Hope dapat kumpul ramai2 camnie lagik, insya Allah. Thanks to K.Fara for the food and layanan mesra. Muahhhs!

Raya Potluck @ MEPS

The next makan2 event sempena Hari Raya was at my own office. Organized by AD dept for the whole IBG team. Since budget for food sumer sendiri2, so we did potluck.

I brought roasted chicken yang sangat sedap! Cemana leh sedap? Sebabnyer i outsource kat tukang masak professional ohhh jangan men men! lol!

Dahler tak masak sendiri, so buat2 lah nampak domestic sket dengan meng-rearrange the dishes.

Posing sampai food dah sejuk....still banyak lagik team member tak naik. Time nih dah start kebuloq waiting, waiting and waiting.....

Biler dah dapat kumpul, amik gambar ramai2 dolu. IBG with FPX team members yang buat raya potluck serentak kat situ so we decided to combine the ppl and the food. The more the merrier.

Then baru lah boleh sepah2kan the meja.

I dah lost track nih raya keberapa time pegi rumah Shara but time tuh still 1st week of raya. Yang besnyer that week takde invitation open house langsung so relax sket lah takyah rushing. Shara served laksa sarawak yang sedap giler sampai sumer orang makan out of control! Abes jer nak tambah, abes jer tambah lagik sampai shara kene kuarkan stok baru. Fuhhh sangat lah addictive!

My first time jumpa Hannah :) Sangatlah comel anak shara nie. Btw, no harm poking done by Qeeb to lil Hannah when this photo was taken heheh.

Raya @ Rizale's House, Bukit Jelutong

We received open house invitation umah Rizale kawan K.Amy at Bkt Jelutong on Friday. Mostly ramai cuti lagik on dat day sbb raya ke-4 falls on Friday so considered as long weekend. K.Amy kenal Rizale thru music network and slalu jumpe kat concert and somehow their friendship merebak to siblings yang lain dats why kitowang pon join beraya sama. Rizale's adik badik Shil and Dell are so friendly tuh yang senang nak clicked. I think i started kenal dorang last 2 years kot.

Ekceli not just the siblings jer yang warm. The parents pon very hospitable. Rasa sangat welcome duduk umah dorang nie. Here's Qeeb begilir2 kene dukungan ngan Rizale, his mom and almost everyone...senang iols nak makan.

Btw, kuah kacang yang dorang buat adalah sangat sedap. Makan sampai out of control. Pastuh served macam2 kuih lapis plak tuh. Si rizale jual kuih lapis jugak....aiseh rival nie hahaha.

Qeeb now dah cecah 10 months old :) Dah pandai crawling, panjat and gigi pon dah makin banyak. However, sleeping pattern tukar sket tiap2 malam musti drama time nak tido. Dah pandai imitate and copy what we said or did. When he crawled sampai ujung katil, he will lie flat and tgk bawah cam gaya tgk view frm cliff. Biler bawak dia kuar jenjalan, so far dia tak choosy sangat if orang nak dukung dia. But i noticed dia makin clingy ngan the maid. Which is good lah kot because that means the maid jaga baik. But geram biler Qeeb refused when i wanted to dukung. Ghhrrrr!

Sambung citer pasal 2nd day raya which is also hari Merdeka yang ke-54 we arrived in PD. yeay yeay! sonotnye pegi beraya kat kampung wpon bukan kampung sendiri. Sebabnye biler sampai jer, my sis tunggu depan pintu dengan senyum lebaq, tangan depa and dok jemput soh masuk...tak ke rasa cam iklan raya gituh part anak balik beraya after kejer lama di perantauan. Biler dia baca nie sure rasa nak lepok wahahaha. Tuh diaaaa sibok masak kat dapoq.

We also celebrated birthday Najwa yang ke-13. Dah sweet remaja dah dia nie.

Which also bring me to the fact yang i still susah nak timer that my nephew dah besaq! Not that i feel old *koff* but he's the one who changed a lot. I missed so much zaman dolu!!! Oh well! Didi pon dah makin besaq. I should plan some activity for us to hang out again....if not i'll be missing much more of their growing phase.

Penat layan Qeeb yang nak explore every inch of the room. Around 6pm we made a move before hari makin gelap. I wish we could stay longer but mikirkan nak drive gelap2 cam tak bes jer so we proceed balik. Alhamdulillah second day raya went well :)

Ronda2 beraya rumah 2 aunts yang live nearby. 1st stop was at rumah auntie Teh layan chit chat and basahkan tekak. Time nih kenyang lagik so eksen tanak makan.

Qeeb exceptionally manja with one of Cheep's cousin, Hezry. Amazingly dia duduk diam jer in this breastfeeding position! Macam kucen kene cuddle pon yer jugak. Nak kater ada boobs flat jer chest dia hahaha. I wonder perfume aper si Hezry nih pakai and aper lah yang sedap sangat si Qeeb sniff sampai high.

1st Anniversary M*PS@Horizon

On 26th July, the company held 1st anniversary party sempena cukup one year M*PS moved to Bangsar South. I was only masuk couple of weeks kejer situ so of course i pon curiously excited and look fwd to the makan2 event. Baru staun rupanyer kat that building no wonder lah most of the office equipment look brand new.

So the day before the event, CorpCom sent email to all staff to wear something in 'orange'. Jenuh dok pikiaq nak pakai aper yang orange. So last2 i planned to pakai scarf orange jer ;) On the day itself, biler sampai opis ada chocolate bar placed on everyone's keyboard. The chocbar tasted weird btw...rasa cam makan air gula >.<

Around 10am, lots of buzz sayin' ada banyak belon dalam lift. Ada jugak belon yang telepas masuk opis carrying invitation message. When it's almost noon, CorpCom blast text message via phone office reminding everyone to come to Boraqz at 12.30pm. Jakun sat laa because my phone office before nih wpon ada screen tatau plak boleh send/read message camtuh hak hak!

So off we went to Boraqz and there were more balloons waiting. Boraqz is our dining hall cum pantry located on the top floor. Cuma takde orang meniaga jer kat situ, just a place to eat and borak2.

Everyone in orange mood :) The host started with intro and MD bagi short speech.

Pastu ada session budak baru kenalkan diri...alamakk tak ready! RR dah pre-empt before naik but i was lalalala jer time tuh ingatkan takde. Sib baik ada 2 budak baru lain yang kene buat intro jugak so kurang sket saspen. But stilllll segannnn occay dahler rasa cam poyo pakai scarf oren tuh erghh.

And then ada session potong birthday cake tok staff yang lahir bulan June-July.

Finally baru sumer orang boleh makan2 sampai konyang :)

1st Day Pagi Raya @ Shah Alam

Bersamaan dengan 30 August, rakyat mesia menyambut hari raya Aidilfitri. Malam tuh ada buat takbir raya yang datang dari umah ke umah but taun nih tgk orang surau tak ramai pon. Pagi tuh feeling2 sedey gak tingat mom and bapak...dah more than 5 years tak dapat raya sama. But Alhamdulillah, i have wonderful in laws yang treat me well and i have something to look fwd to....siapkan my 2 guys. Biler Cheep balik from smayang raya, trus grab camera and ready for posing2. Makan kendian citer hak hak!

Thanks to 'timer' function dapat lah jugak few snaps yang senonoh. Gambar yang struggling pegang Qeeb tunggang tebalik lagik banyak. Tgk gambar tuh mmg lawak but tak mo publish kat sini sbb Qeeb jer yang nampak kiut while me and jeeb looked totally the opposite.

Kat dalam umah plak, buat konsep cam photobooth. Letak tripod + camera, so anyone can amik gambar sukati at that spot. I like this photo sbb 3 of us pakai bold colors.

We also took the opportunity to salam raya and mintak maap with all family members for any wrongdoings. Qeeb biler nampak sampul raya, most of the time he will grab it sbb curious. Ada time yang dia tak heran langsung. Yang dia familiar dia akan 'sayang' by lentokkan kepala kat muka that person and gave a headbutt. Bes ler ~~mak~~ dia sbb dapat kumpul duit raya.

Lepas tuh baru i had the chance to makan wpon kejap. Sbb Qeeb dah mengamuk nak tido pulak fuhhh kesabarannnnn! Kalo time camnie dia nak tido kene ada requirements to follow....nak tempat sejuk and senyap. So terpaksa bawak dia naik bilik baru stop nanges and mata stim nantok. Petang me and Jeeb had the chance to visit pusara my parents sbb ramai sedara mara dtg umah nonstop. Tuh pon terpaksa lari jugak when ada yang baru sampai. There goes my ektibiti raya time siang :)

Kad Raya Handmade

This year GLC nak exchange kad raya plus handmade challenge. So aku pon carik gunting, gam, kertas kalerful and pen kaler2. Tadaaaaa inilah hasil kerastangan (bak kata Dani) tok bebudak GLC. Jenuh gak menampal corak bunga2 yang degel tanak lekat, gunting kertas yang tak brapa nak straight. Fuhhh dogaan! Sbb tuh lar orang yang jual handmade stuff mahal kan?!

I wish i can doodle but i know nanti by the 3rd kad raya aku dah takde idea nak lukis aper. So better stick to my hobby yang suker menampal. So lepas sent all my kad raya to them, the waiting part to receive kad raya begin. Tak sabooo rasanya tiap2 petang balik musti check out mails ada tak kad raya for me.

Biler tgk ada envelope yang tulis nama sendiri....prasaan sonok timer kad raya cam zaman dolu2 terimbas kembali cewahhhh! Padahal dah tau bebudak GLC nih yang sent tapik still rasa seprais "eh ada kad raya! eh nih saper hantar". So nih lah 7 kad raya yang iols trimer for this year.

Ada yang 100% handmade, ada yang half but yang penting content original hehe. Top left is from Mas, Shara and Dani. Yang bottom left pulak from D, Kak Fara, Zaza and Jannah (origami). Thank you kowang for taking time and efforts nak buat all this.

Notakaki: Kalo tak buat exchange kad raya nih, satu hapa kad pon tak dapat. Hatta kad raya from insurance agent :P

Buka Puasa @ Kelantan Delights, Sooka Sentral

This was the one and only buka puasa kat luar i had this year. It's called ex-pernec gathering initiated by Fairuz. New members dalam group nih were me and D hehe. Since K.Fara pon ada so semangat ler nak pegi, kalo tidak sure segan konpem tak pegi. After voting and all, we chose Kelantan Delights at Sooka Sentral sbb strategik and majoriti senang nak datang.

I forgot to bring baju extra because on Friday i havta wear uniform -.- hohhh rasa skema jek. Yang datang for the buka posa tuh, most of 'em penah involved in FDS, except Poji sbb dia still ngan FDS hehe. I made 2 new friends on that day because these 2 benti from Pernec before i joined so mmg tak kenal.

The buffet spread. Kat balcony ada nice view but situ tempat smoker.

The buffet price was RM55+ (RM60.50 nett termasuk tax). Ada ikan bakar, nasi kerabu, tomyam, few lauk pauk, rojak, kerabu mangga, somtam, etc and desserts. Tak banyak choice ekceli but sib baik sedap.

My first dish for buka puasa - nasi kerabu. Rasa nak go for second round but nak tambah makan nasik lagik mau perot explode pulak.

Posing jugak ler sana sini lepas dah kenyang. Tuh pon sbb ada 2 budak GLC hahaha.

Recently Qeeb tak suker pakai kasut. When this photo was taken, it was more than 10 attempts me and jeeb both try to sarungkan his kasut because everytime satu masuk satu lagik dah tertanggal.

Sampai bepeloh2 dibuatnyer, rambut i pon dah cam kene ribut. I have to tahan his kaki from trying to take off the shoes.

But he managed to freed himself anyway. Kaki yang berjaya merdeka dari jajahan kasut. Merdeka!

Lepas tgk few of my friends tukar blog template, trus rasa smangat nak buat blog header baru since dah almost a year tak tukar (which reminds me FB avatar pon dah staun tak tukar). Besides tukar header sonang ajer compared to tukar the whole blog template. Cuma tinggal rajin or maleh jer nak carik gambar to compose.

Since Blogger introduced 'Template Designer' mmg kacang sungguh nak maintain width, background to match with custom header and tukar color. Takyah nak buat hard code anymore sambil lap peloh. Dolu biler download free template jer nak kene adjust width dan yang swaktu dengannyer. Kalo tidak, hancoqlah my flickr account punyer standard size. Maka sejak last 2 years lah aku rajin tukar header, konon2 nyer ikot musim/event.

The July GLC meetup was in The Sphere again due to technical problem (literally) i was facing at the office. The original venue was Midvalley but tetiba kene standby kat opis maka dah sedey2 tak dapat join. But all of em being nice detour to my office area at the very last minute hehe. Lepas dapat green light to balik, trus rushed to join the gurls at a new restaurant, Simply Mel's yang baru je start business for 2 weeks.

There's a wide range of melaka-portugis food. Ada menu banyak nama pelik2 which i'm curious to try but i opted for Laksa Melaka sbb nak cepat since everybody dah abes makan.

D siap buat homework in advance aper nak lukes and bawak source of reference. Sumer inspired nak buat camtuh jugak hahaha.

And then came the chef cum owner itself, Mel and greet us pleasantly. Can see that she loves to cook and jamu orang makan.

Because lepas tuh, she came out with stuffed crab and asked us to try her specialty dish. And it's complimentary hehe. The dish is new to me but i think lg puas makan dengan nasik kot sbb isik nyer sangat byk!

Few days before my departure frm C*smo, big boss ajak gi makan kat Saisake Japanese Buffet @ Wisma UOA. Iols pon amik kesempatan feeling2 tuh sempena farewell hahaha yelah kejer 3 bulan tak abes kenai sumer orang pon lagik, mana nak carik orang yang super baik ati nak organize and throw a farewell party kan?!

It was my first time makan sini. The food was ok, but tak jumpe any dish yang i can say sedap giler. Pastuh plak dah lama tak makan buffet so perot cam kenot handle sumbat macam2 benda.

Aaar yang duduk kiri tuh lar my exboss. Yang sblah dia zeti sales mgr. The two guys plak marketers yang carik international students. Sorang pak arab sorang lagik nigerian and both suker gado sbb rebut students. Scene yang takbes time lunch tuh, mamat blek ni ordered beer. Even my chinese boss pon jeling2 and ckp so inappropriate to drink during office hour. Tapik dia dah tuang dalam gelas nak halang cemana lagik yedak. Pastuh expect masuk dalam bill yang big boss akan bayar. Eeee x malu sungguh!

I made a good friend with Zeti eventho for the first 3months she was working in Sban center and we only communicate thru fon and emails. Jumpa skali skala time center mgmt meeting. Lepas tuh she got promoted and datang KL*U. Indirectly i think i learned a lot from her.

I just learned that Qeeb dah pandai sebut Momma! At first i thought mamamamamam as in makan. But Jeeb pointed out ~~dengan nada penoh jeles~~ that Qeeb pronounced momma [pause] momma. Ohohoho sukernya sayer! Pandaiiii nie Naqeeb sebut mama first, just take your time to blajar sebut papa plak okay?! lol!

I smiled when i read through the list below, because i've experienced most of it :) And I love no. 34 the most! I love the warmth when 3 of us tido tangan and kaki berkris-kross. However most of the time Qeeb has to sleep in the cot kalo tak...abes saket sumer otot sbb tido sempit2 for long hours.

Myra Camilia 1yo Birthday Party

My sis held a birthday party for July babies in the family (Abg Ayie, Adly and Myra). Center of attraction of course Myra who turned 1 yo :) Cute kan her birthday outfit siap ngan tutu! At 1yo, dia dah pandai jalan, dah tumbuh gigi, dah banyak words dia pandai cakap....mmg way advance compared to her brothers adly, didi and sis lily hehe. Pas tuh plak nama dia sorang jer lain when all her siblings nama sumer 'eee' kat blakang. Aaar nih kene tanya kakak cheq sendiri pasai pa pilih nama tuh :P

I also found out that Kak Ruby is expecting 5th child! So boy or girl? hehe.

Qeeb's First Contest

Recently i joined a contest organized by sicomelote (online shoppe) and Azam Hashim. There were 2 category : sicomelote category (syaratnya penah beli barang kat their site) and open category (anyone can participate). I uploaded Qeeb's photo yang expression nya sangat serious and ~~paksa~~ asked my friends to vote.

The result was announced last week and.....*drum roll*
Qeeb won 2nd place! Yayyyy!!!

Check out what Qeeb won. We can't wait to book the photoshoot session with Azam Hashim soon...or maybe tunggu when Qeeb turns 1 year old.

Moving Forward

I'm waiting for this month's salary from 2 companies. If only the amount x2 ;)

I just doa takde problem yang buat the payment delay. I need my gaji asap! Approx 4 months ago, I decided to change my job. So I joined Cosmo. There are similarity or something that I can relate from the previous job but the position title was totally different and perspective orang pon different. I kinda hate that. The tasks were ok and manageable but the only setback was I can't handle my boss's emo. I don't like the feeling datang opis tgk muka orang yg bagi instruction to me with a stress face and marah staff cam kat skolah with all the negative remarks. So I really HATE that! Plus few other things that I don't feel the company manage it right. Ada jugak nyesal i turned down another offer that came serentak ngan Cosmo. Oh well!

Alhamdulillah datang pulak rezeki lain, when i was busy to start job hunting tetiba my ex-pm text me whether i'm interested to fill a position in her company she's working with right now. So after attended 2 interview, I got the offer ^.^ Even though I was contemplating at first but I know I want the job! The new company have bigger challenge of course, but at least I know i can gain more knowledge and it comes with better benefits too!

I hope I made the right decision. Insya Allah. Win some, lose some right? :)

Cosmo was the most shortest working period company I ever been with. 3 bulan setengah + trauma! Eh wait, dolu kejer kat Big Mug cafe as waitress for few days pon tak trauma camnie tawww!

GLC Open Day 2011

On 25th June, I followed Cheep to see some of his works at GLC Open Day, KL Convention Centre. Excited nak tgk the outcome after dia asik berkampung kat opis berhari2 sampai tido dah tak betoi nak menyiapkan event nie.

At the main entrance called 'Tunnel' filled with posters kat LCD. Some of the stuff Cheep illustrate.

Cutout car nih pon dia yang kaler.

Dapat naik keta myvi baru. bes giler oh ada screen kat panel. sukerrrr tp kalo nak amik kene topap banyak!

And then ada coloring contest. Yg illustration tuh pon Cheep yang buat hehe suker lah dia tgk banyak budak tgh mengaler lukesan dia.

For me yang swonotnyer kalo pegi this kind of event is to see how each companies setup and design their booth.

Pastuh tgk plak how the public participate/ respond. Nih ada orang tulis tok kempen road safety 'bayar sumer saman yang ada' koh kohhhh which remind me ada 2 saman tak berbayor lagik -.-

Nih pakai props tembikai betol! stand kadbod gambar peladang tuh pon nampak real kan?

Tabung Haji buat ektibiti cara nak tawaf kat kaabah. Menarik gak sbb bebudak laki sumer kene pakai baju ihram.

An A+ if the company held a contest. Yang senang2 jer dah...takat jawab soklan sebijik dua and then dapat pen/ mug/ tote bag. Sure orang suka punyer lah! I think CIMB paling generous for this event...bagi macam2! tote bag, rubber watch and biler check in via FB dapat additional portable fan.

Yang one of the most happening booth plak, i'd say MBB. Rasa cam kat Vegas jer. Dorang tak bagi freebies but when you made any transactions here, you are entitled to masuk contest cash twister. I saw their banner kalo nak bukak Yippie account cume rm1 so aperlagas mak budak nih pon sibok ler nak register.

So kitowang pon queue up for the cash twister challenge. Tapik time tuh lar ada vip datang so cash twister terpaksa stop kejap tok beri laluan. Rupanyer pak lah and wife sampai and mbb nak amik signature dorang. So sementara tungu pak lah tenyeh sign kat ipad which were right in front of us, kitowang pon sibok snap gambar cam org press pulak.

Then sambung nebes balik and tgk strategy orang before me tangkap kertas yang berterbangan tuh cemana. Yang buat nebesnyer aper taw...takot terjonah kat dalam tuh beria nak grab kertas skali kuar dapat sekeping jer!

Nih lar hasil tangkapan dapat cash rm9 jer hehe. Cheep dapat rm3 dengan brush aper tah hahaha. RM9 tuh end up bayar parking klcc smata!

Sempat jugak amik gambar ngan upin dan sparuh ipin....or isit the other way round? i still find them as a scary lookin characters but my sis beria cakap kiut. kene tgk katun tuh baru tau yang depa nih sangat kiut.

Lagik satu contest yang best was at MRCB's booth. The rule was amik gambar ngan orang yang pakai tshirt with alphabet M, R, C & B. Time tuh urup B kuar makan but we still got the hadiah - tumbler sebijik :)

So itulah dia bergambar sakan kat GLC open day.

Sambil dating ngan Cheep after berminggu2 dapat jumpe sipi2 jer. Aku tidoq dia baru balik...time aku nak gi kejer dia tgh tidoq takpon still kat opis. Sampai kitowang missed family vacation pegi Bali sob sob! On dat day jalan sampai kaki saket and kebuloq, but it was all worth it :)

GLC June @ Little Taiwan

GLC gathering bulan June was at Little Taiwan @ The Sphere, Bangsar South. Still x dapat full attendance sbb Kak Moji gi training, Shara dah sarat preggy dan tak disarankan berjimba jauh2 and Zaza kat Penang. So yang berjaya mengattendkan diri were....

We celebrated birthday Kak Fara dengan kek lapis yang shara beli. Tingat plak kak fara cakap everytime birthday dia musti celebrate ngan benda pelik2 hahaha. Last time was rotiboy 5 bijik ngan candle. This year plak kek lapis! Next year we'll try buy real cake for you lah yea! That's blueberry cheese kek lapis btw ;)

We also shopping setempat! I bought pillow pet from Jannah and of course i chose panda ^.^ Panda tuh biler tak lipat dia jadik pillow lah, biler fasten the velcro trus dia jadik cam ada kaki. Kechomelan sangat2!

Kak fara borong penguin ngan lady bird. Pastuh mula ler posing2 ngan bantal tuh sumer sbb feeling2 kiut. Other than that, Dani and Jannah ada bawak gak tudung tok dijual. Aku plak promote kek lapis choc cheese :P

Another activity was exchange gifts. Kak fara baru balik from universal studio singapore & KK so she bought us fridge magnet and brooch, dani plak baru balik from Krabi and she also bought fridge magnet. Aku plak bagi depa totebag kaler putih. Mas luper bawak cenderamata frm korea haiyaaaa! Tapik takpe i can wait hehe

The last one was agenda baru, GLC scrapbook. Objektipnyer adalah every GLC meetup kene bawak buku neh and conteng2 about anything that we wanted to share with other members. I really hope buku neh conteng sepenuhnyer sbb sure bes giler biler flip through balik and baca amende lah yang kitowang merapu on that day. Kak fara was the first one yang merasmikan buku tuh :) tulisan jawi dia lawa occay!

Pastuh nak bagi comment pon boleh jugak. Hahaha dah cam konsep facebook ler pulak.

Nih si mas punye doodle. Mulut dok tanya 'aaaar caner caner nak lukes tapik tangan laju jer gerak fufufu!

Sempena MIL's bday and father's day bebaru nie, we planned to buat BBQ! According to SILs dah lama giler dorang tak buat BBQ kat umah. As for me plak of course lah ON jer kalo bab2 makan nie kan! Dah marinade ayam sumer bagai...petang tuh kitowang pon start ler membakor. Bes giler charcoal nie, tahan lama and after sejam stgh baru hancur berderai jadik ashes.

Pawang hidopkan api fufufufu!

Bakor jangan tak bakor. Tapik kipas tak power lah jenuh nak mengipas. Kalo ada kipas sate tuh baru gempak.

Sedapnye ayam marinade honey + mustard + oystersos! Besoknye panaskan balik pon still rasa sodap!

Our ala kadar buffet spread. Ada hotdog, ciken bbq and potato salad with carbonated drinks.

Cheep managed to escape from 'kejer-yang-takleh-balik-umah-tido' to enjoy the BBQ that nite. 1st father's day for him...mustilah nak celebrate :)

Happy father's day to FIL also. Since Pa orang penang...mmg remind me a lot of bapak. Wuuuu windu kat bapak and mom so much! But Alhamdulillah ada PIL yang sayang cheq cam anak sendiri.

Thanks a bunch to SILs yang made the BBQ night happened. Dari beli ayam, marinade, prepare itu ini, membakar ayam sampailah memasing burped kekenyangan.

Mother's Day bulan may ari tuh, we went to TFortyTwo @ Empire Gallery. The centrepiece was awesome with lots of candy, meringue, macarons, etc.

We had a hard time to order because banyak food dah habes. Ramai sangat datang to celebrate mother's day.

There was also an incident where i forgot to bring Qeeb's susu! Air panas, air biasa, bottles sumer ada....except susu! Hohhhh bepeloh kejap biler Qeeb dah start melalak nak susu. But yang betol bepelohnyer was Jeeb lah because he had to run beli susu! Aihh...baru nak celebrate mom's day dah tertinggal susu anak >.<

Urrhhmmm...can't remember what i had though.

I also celebrated mom's day with my sis. We went out just the two of us with no kids in tow heheh!

It was really fun. At first we had lunch at Otak Otak @ Tropicana. And then meronda KL sampai dah tak larat nak jalan.

Yang shopping beria was my sis! Hohhh banyak tol dia borong!

Meh meh order kek lapis sodap for only RM18! Kalo tanya cheq mana yang paling sedap i will highly recommend chocolate cheese. Kesedapan tak terhingga! Me myself can abeskan one whole loaf but biler ingat orang blakang kiri kanan...control makan sparuh je lah. Besides best selling choc cheese, blueberry cheese and kek lapis india ramai cakap sodap. Yang lain2 pon the taste tak menghampakan...sumer nya sedap and good quality.

Nih dah nak bulan posa and raya bleh lah order tok bagi family, jenjiran, kengkawan, opismate etc. Nak buat hidangan time raya sure nampak meriah biler letak kek lapis yang color2ful tuh. Jeeb's Birthday 2011

My chirpy cheepie Cheep turned 32 this year. We had a small quiet dinner at Tony Romas at the Curve. At first we were told that we had to wait for at least 1 hour because it was a long waiting list. Sian bday boy muka keciwa. However, I was pretty sure tak ramai yang sanggup tunggu time tuh because it was almost 9pm. Biler lapaq ppl tend to carik tempat lain. So I told the person in charge that we wanted to go somewhere else first and make sure to give us a call when there's table available. Skali tuh tak sampai 15 mins he gave me a call. Tapik time tuh tak dengar pulak phone ringing sbb tgh bz order 'appetizer' kat A&W. Memang mode kebuloq sangat sampai teroverboard beli ice cream waffle, rootbeer float, mozza burger and curly fries. Biler returned call orang tuh tak jawab, so Cheep went to Tony Romas to confirmed the table and cakap we are coming in 5mins. So in 5 mins both of us finished our drinks dengan skali sedut...fufufufu!

Qeeb gave the 'don't mess with me look' to baby on tshirt

I was happy that the manager kept his word and took note that we came with a baby in stroller. He reserved a table at a corner with spacious space to park the stroller. Then we ordered our food :) Started with an~~other~~ appetizer- Steak and Wild Mushroom flatbread. I think this one was the most sedap-est of all!

Crisp flatbread topped with grilled beef tenderloin, melted Havarti cheese, crumbled Bleu cheese, wild mushrooms, red peppers, chives and creamy horseradish sauce.

Cheep had Bountiful Beef Ribs. The meat was so tebal so mmg pueh ler makan and the taste sampai isik paling dalam pon still rasa.

Hearty ribs with a rich beef flavor. Glazed with TR's Original.

The last time i went to Tony Romas i remember i had something chicken and did not enjoyed it. So kali nih make sure order benda lain plak - Shrimp Scampi Pasta. Dalam gambar nampak cam mee goreng mamak jer. But mmg sedap kene ngan my tekak and the shrimp banyak giler!

A generous portion of shrimp lightly sauteed with garlic, fresh basil, tomato pesto and a hint of spicy chipotle. Served over linguine and topped with shaved Asiago cheese.

We ate sampai kenyang but couldn't finish everything so tapau bawak balik umah. Gosh...A&W yang dalam plastic bag pon tak berusik lagik! So, the next morning we ate all the leftovers for breakfast. It was like a big feast! And last but not least...one small family photo of us before we left Tony Romas that nite.

Nota kaki: One minus point for Tony Romas - the meja makan tak lap bersih. Ada sticky sos lekit2 kat my wrist. Trus jadik gatal2 lepas tuh! :/

Qeeb @ 7 months

7 month old, first week

Qeeb has turned into a bouncing machine. This game is fun for him since he can support his weight on his legs. What's more, he can sit unsupported, which free his hands for exploring. He starts reaching for things and scooping them up with one hand. He also able to lean forward to grab a toy and then straighten himself again. I noticed him turn things round now, finding out what they look like upside down or sideways. And of course, he'll wonder what everything tastes like, too.

Skang nih Qeeb dah pandai duduk steady without goyang2 cam mabuk. But still lom pandai crawling lagik. Takat goyang montot setempat ajer and reverse sket2 hehe. But it's ok, no need to rush. As much as i'm looking fwd to see his new development, i'm starting to miss his baby-ness as well. Oh ya, skang biler baring or duduk if we offer tangan as if nak pick him up he will definitely sua tangan jugak hehe! ♥cair! cair!♥ His new vocab is 'dadadadadada' and sometimes cam dengar 'pahhhh' (nama helper) biler nak susu. But I hope he says mama first instead of papa!

Iman's 8yo Birthday Party

First week of May, Kak Liza threw a birthday party for Iman. It was a post-birthday party ekceli because tak sempat nak buat on her actual birthday. This year Iman invited some of her school friends. Qeeb and Irina plak too small to join the crowd...mau kene stampede.

Qeeb had his own good time main atas rumput with Tok Wan.

The kids main game cam sukaneka, danced Hawaii Five-O tunes, sang Justin Bieber's song, limbo competition and so on.

And then potong cake session.

The cake theme was treasure chest. Nih kalo cake orang beso mau kene label gold digger :P

The adults pon excited queued for balloons. Siap demand color and shape hehe.

I asked for pink and blue flower.

Qeeb also got himself a puppy balloon. But dia dapat pegang kejap jer because i took it away before belon tuh meletop sbb dia asik squeeeeeze and masuk mulot. Lomah jantung eden kang kalo belon tuh meletop no matter how small the size is.

Qeeb looked so tiny here sitting on papa's couch. Also a portrait photo of Irina who happened to hang out dekat2 but susah nak pegang ngeeeee geramph! I wish i have her green-hazel-whatever eye color she has.

Surprise Birthday Party for Zaza

Lama giler tak update blog! So i just korek2 balik gambar yang ada to publish and sengih sorang2 tingat that moment. But yang kurang bestnyer....i forgot the details! That's what happened when lambat update. Last April, Alfian threw a surprise birthday party for his dear wife, Zaza George (i had to use zaza george sbb kang confuse ngan zaza pernec hehe). And it was awesome! The mastermind was Alfian, the party planner was renee, tukang meramaikan majlis were lela, cima, pizet, roha, renee and me. Tukang bayar yang sangat generous was of course, none other than Alfian.

The party took place at Dubrovnik @ Solaris. I was like 5 mins late jer to catch expression zaza tekejot monkey nampak the girlfriends excited tunggu her arrival. Tuh pon sib baik lah the place quite dekat from my office and i didn't lost my bearing.

Beautiful table setting by Renee. She did osem job! Pink and purple are so romantic.

Gosh lama giler tak jumpe dorang nie. Tuh pon ada a few yang couldn't make it cam Rok, Yulie, Wawa, Zect, Aida. So lepas kiss kiss muah muah....we ordered some food! The appetizer platter ada strukli, palacinke & salad is highly recommended. Rasa croatian abes time tuh. And then for the main course i had seafood platter. Yang lain2 tuh ordered chicken stroganoff, steak fillet, lamb chop, pasta, etc.

Tengah syiok2 makan tuh tetiba si Renee introduced a game called Freeze. Birthday girl di beri kuasa veto nak bagi arahan freeze bebila masa sesuka ati dia spanjang lunch time tuh. Maka cisss dan cissss lah biler tgh nganga besar nak suap makan time tuh lar si zaza cakap FREEZE! ada skali tuh aku tgh jonah sangat sampai tak dengar dia dah cakap freeze banyak kali :P and paling tatahan biler kene freeze aku tgh pandang cima nak masukkan broccoli dalam mulut dia. aku pandang tempat lain pon tak mampu nak tahan gelak biler nampak broccoli tuh dangling atas mulut cima. maka dapat lah setiap sorang award bluedot biler gagal control gelak. i got 2! so kira ok lagik lah tuh :P juara bertahan was Lela! Giler kental minah tuh x de expression langsung biler tgh static. Second game was 'I have never....' lebey kurang concept cam truth or dare. So ramai ler yang bukak balik kesah lama nak kenekan masing2. Time nih yang kene truk zaza lah...wahahaha balas dendam!

The 3rd game was Auction. Rules dia kene bid dengan cekelat cadbury yang ada. Since barang first so tak ramai lah nak bid beria. Tapik aku bid all out sbb lepas tuh konpem bidding lagik tinggi. Boy i was lucky sbb dapat Bodyshop mini pack! hiks!

Si pizet won the second bid...and guess what she won? A sexay grandma panties!!! Wakakakaa. Cima plak got herself plastic sampah! Hahahaha...still considered useful compared to pizet punye ;) Pandai tol Renee pilih hadiah....mmg saudagar cekelat dia neh!

Lepas dah gelak guling2, we sang birthday song to Zaza and had an incredibly sedap choc cheese cake that renee bought somewhere in KD. But before that, tak sempat zaza nak cut the cake si Ali dah grab it and trus makan! Hahahaha cepat giler and he looked so kiut layan makan cake comot2. And then turn Zaza bukak hadiah. Perfume Carolina Herrera from the girls, jewel stand from me and tote bag from rok (siap pos summore). Coincidentally the jewel stand lebey kurang cam illo kat perfume box kan?!

We took group photo before Roha made a move sbb hasben dia dah puas ronda2 and tunggu kat luar hehe.

Sumer sengihhhh innocent jer tgk pizet time nie sbb dia sorang jer yang luper nak tanggal the bluedot! Lol!

It was a nice and wonderful birthday cum girlfriends gathering. Thanks to Alfian for inviting me and sponsored the whole evening. Last but not least, the beautiful family of 3.

Ryan Iszkandar 1yo Birthday Party

Last week, we went to Lisa's son 1 year old birthday party-Ryan Iszkandar in Cheras. Her PILs house happened to be my backdoor neighbour. Biler recall balik how i kenal Lisa, rasa cam kecik jer donia. She is D' schoolmate and ZZ's staff so once in a while she popped in at PNB. Then i found out she's married to my jiran blakang rumah. Her husband jadik photographer during D's engagement and also kawan kepada hasben Dani. Talked about coincidence! Ok back to the party, when we arrived aku luper nombor rumah....yelah depan ngan blakang mana sama. But fret not, i just find umah mana yang banyak orang and banyak balloons :)

Time ni, Delailah, Jules and her doter pon baru sampai! Baru nak duduk, Qeeb dah mengamuk nak susu. Lepas dia kenyang, mak dia plak tak sabo nak makan. It was raining and i was really hungry *blame the weather* Sib baik lah si Delailah was more than happy to babysit Qeeb...but it was more like i suddenly put Qeeb on her lap and dash to get some food :P

Qeeb seemed to enjoy Delailah & Jules company while constantly busy trying to get his fist into the mouth.

I enjoyed the buffet spread so much. The food were so sedap especially the nasi lemak and yong tau foo! Gosh i had 2 pinggan *pengsan* lepas tuh tensen sluar ketat (T___T).

Cool birthday decor for birthday boy! And the party box pon sangat bes eventho it was meant for kids :P I love the jibbitz!

D and Poji came with their nephew, Zhafran. Lama dah tak jumpe dia neh....tup2 dah tinggi! Rambut stylo plak tuh haha. I still remember how Poji demo biler dia try usik Zhafran's hair, he will automatically adjust balik the cacak-ness. Lawak giler!

Last but not least, musti ada gambar ngan birthday boy Ryan. Tapik dia pandang tempat lain plak time nie. Thanks Lisa for inviting! I had a good time makan2 and meet up with friends. And Qeeb of course...he obviously enjoyed makan his own tangan. Ish Qeeb, takde gambar yang dia tak masukkan tangan dlm mulut -.-'

Qeeb goes bald

A week after the Aqiqah, we went to cukur Qeeb's hair at the kedai mamak. Risau giler time nak cukur tuh sbb baby's head kan lembut. But i kept remind myself banyak baby pon cukur rambut camnie jugak. Alhamdulillah Qeeb pon relax jer duduk atas Jeeb's lap while the mamak cukur all his hair. Background music ada lagu tamil summore. It was classic! Hehe!

Aqiqah Qeeb

After 5 months baru lah me and Jeeb bebetol plan nak buat aqiqah. I think ada lah dalam 3 kali tukar date :P Sampai lah the final date that we agreed which is on 10th April, minus the drama with a caterer....the date was ekceli dekat ngan PIL's birthday so nice lah we get to celebrate another special event together.

That morning, Qeeb woke up mandi and minom cucu...pakaikan dia jubah and test the buaian (again). Just to get him in the mood and familiarize with the buai *roll eyes*

I was really kelam kabut to setup the candy buffet. Time tuh jemaah surau dah start datang. By 11am dah penoh dah living room. I changed Qeeb's clothes to rompers, placed him in the basket and continue sambung setup my own mini buffet table outside the house. When jemaah surau started to baca doa, i was holding my breath for few secs dengar2 kalo ada bunyik melalak. Skalik tuh kuar jugak bunyik siren daaa! Qeeb terkujat dengar bunyik kuat ler tuh. But biler angkat dia trus senyap so i stayed with him kejap.

Then biler start cukur jambul saspen balik....mintak2 lerrr Qeeb x cranky. Lucky enough, he seemed don't mind at all orang potong rambut dia sukati panjang pendek.

Quite ramai gak yang took turn to potong his rambut. Tangan Jeeb pon dah menggegel time tuh hehe.

According to Jeeb, time nih tangan dia dah tak rasa aper dah...hahaha! Mana taknyer pegang 7.4kg more than 15mins in one position mau tak kebas.

Cut the story short, lepas doa selamat sumer start makan. We ordered nasik tomato, ayam masak merah, sayur, ikan sweet sour.

Our candy buffet plak ada lollies, cupcakes (my sis sponsored hehe), cikedis, gummies and sweets. My sis made me a beautiful mini pot of lollipops arrangements with toppers. It was so cute, orang tak amik candy jer...dengan toppers2 skali orang amik. Abes kenduri, tinggal pot botak jer huahuahua!

2 ekoq kamben biri2 yang menjadik qurban. Buat roast lamb mmg sedap and org yg buat nih pon pandai buat. I don't eat kamben, but this one i really enjoyed eating it.

The doorgifts for guests are marble cake, homemade chocs (big thanks to my sis jugak!). For orang surau ada extra sket...buku doa. I just love the polka dot ribbon ^.^

I enjoyed watching the guests amik their sweet treats at the candy station. Here's Lily tolong pack kan candies for Didi yang demam kat umah.

My familia yang attend that day. Thanks for coming! Sorry sangat tak dapat duduk layan borak but i really appreciate datang. Rasa cam tak cukup kaki asik kene panggey. Abes muka yang the guys i pixel kan dalam gambar nie hak hak (don't ask :P) Tak pasan time nie I was wearing slipar jepun jer...kaler yellow plak tuh hadoiyai!

This time half of GLC did one activity other than MAKAN! Starting from plan nak amik gambar kat studio, we thought kene lah make up cun2 dolu. But takde yang reti makeup sangat so carik class blajar make up plak haha. So tuh yang end up kat rumah cik Bunga nie.

Bersama2 ngan dorang nie...kak fara, D, Dani dan 5 orang lain lagik Lissa, Shara, Nor, Maya, Jules and Delailah.

Nih lah chekgu Bunga.

Biler Bunga dah abes tunjuk demo kat model dia kitowang pon start ler main2 ngan concealer, base, shading, blusher, eyeshadow, dannnn pasang bulu mata palsu!

So jadik lah from plain jane cenggini....

Ke flawless camneh....

Dan trus ke prasan-mata-cun camneh koh koh koh! Memula rasa cam my makeup tak menjadik because tak cukup pekat. Tapik biler pakai falsies trus transformed jadik oklahhh-i-kinda-like-my makeup hahaha. No wonder lah RCW suker pakai fake eyelashes.

Kalo tutup mata plak, camnih lah hasil aku mengaler mata. Bab2 nak samakan shading kiri and kanan mmg fail. Kan senang kalo boleh undo smudge cam dalam photoshop.

Lepas makan, kitowang gi camho jap kat tepi rumah Bunga sbb rasa cam wasted lah trus balik and wash the face hehe.

I learned 2 new terms on that day - socket and bounce. Secara overallnyer, i still find makeup a bit hassle. Memang tangan keras sungguh :P But at least now i know how to apply my own make up on special occasion (kotttt! tools pon x cukup lagik). Last weekend the GLC picnic photo was published in The Star newspaper. I was approached by Aida the writer through my blog who was interested with the photos. She then interviewed Kak Fara over the phone and the output was tadaaaaaa....

Leh simpan wat kenangan! The picnic was memorable enough and now it was featured in the newspaper :D

Birthday & Open House

K.liza and family dah officially moved to a new beautiful renovated house. The kitchen is huge rasa cam baking studio, the master bedroom macam hotel suite, iman's room is so pinky and cute! But i think the most fav room is the AV room. Why? Because ada awesome sound system, 60inch lcd, kinect, drum set and karaoke set macam kat redbox! Fuh mmg bleh duduk berjam2 in that room!

Anyways, dorang buat open house and invited family and friends to celebrate skali the husband's birthday. The food were awesome catered by Eden Catering plus sate guy which is the second time SIL hired him for makan2 event sbb sate dia mmg sedap. The buffet spread ada 2 types of salad, rosemary chicken, boxing chicken, veges, pasta, roast lamb, garlic bread, sausages, etc.

Us enjoying the food. Mmg makan tanpa sopan lah dat night.

Boleh plak baju almost sama hahaha. Sorang pakai nike sorang pakai tommy hilfiger.

Posing amik gambar dalam umah with kekami. Bes betol full length mirror so nampak umah terang benderang and besar. Dahler panjang sampai ke pintu dapor.

Si Qeeb pon boring tunggu mama dia abes makan :P Sib baik dia banyak dayang dat night yang gilir2 tolong pegang. hiks!

When i first saw this box, i was like what the heck is this thing? Somebody said dalam tuh ada rim keta kot! Tapik takkan lah rim keta Ferrari size camnie...rim keta kancil maybe lah lol! Biler google baru ler tau opus tuh ekceli the largest and most luxurious publication ever. Guna jelah pekataan buku kan senang orang paham. Jenuh dok pikiaq aper kejadah tuh opus.

Manyaknyer rambut kegugurannnnn :( I can make a wig huaaaaa! Yang irritatingnyer when i see strand of hair everywhere...on the pillow, on the bed sheet, in the sink, atas meja, on Qeeb's hand! Dahler Qeeb suker pull my hair now....grip baekkk punyer.

Slalu dengar orang cerita biler baby dah start drool/ teething mula lah rambut gugur kaw2. But aper connection postnatal hair loss ngan baby drool? I guess i have to settle with this answer at Baby Center.
