Gab's Birthday Lunch @ Apollo, Bangsar

On 2nd Sep, i made a solo trip to Bangsar to join Gab's birthday lunch at Apollo. Most of them went to the office since morning so dekat lah sket nak gi Bangsar. As for me yang gigih nak join because timing just nice since Qeeb balik awal from school and i wanted to have some interaction with other people haha.

  

The birthday squad. Actually the whole team forgot to wish Gab on his birthday. Haha until somebody teringat baru lah boss cakap haa jom lunch.

I had percik ciken roulade. The portion is small but filling. The coffee was nice too but cannot take away hehe.

  

Then departed, ada yang pegi meeting tempat lain, balik office or balik rumah to continue work. I managed to singgah Lubuk Bangku kejap to tapau gulai daging salai for dinner. Nyums!

Brekkie at McD and Detour to Mitsui Premium Outlet

Before CMCO hari tuh sempat brekkie at McD with Yunus and his fam. Main objective was to collect Lava container yang tumpang beli from Nora sbb murah and chans!

  

After makan2, Jeeb teracun plak nak tgk Nike shoes on sale. So instead of balik rumah terus we went straight to MPO. No kids in tow,  boleh lah jalan laju2 sket. But once sampai sana, queue panjang pulak beno nak masuk Nike. Major turn off sungguh. So we checked out other stuff dah alang2 sampai situ.

Online Class Coding

I signed up a free online mind map and coding class for Qeeb. Curious how the instructor handle the class, what's the crowd like, how the kids follow and response the class. It was organized by Sols24/7 yang suddenly kluar my IG feeds and caught my attention. 

  

Yang best was the coding class because it was more interactive and hands on. Suka tgk how the instructor handle the class, at the same time sempat baca questions in the chats, response to direct questions from the students and also try to solve coding problem. 

 

This is how the coding looks like. Everything looks object oriented, drag and drop and bleh create sub. Jenuh gak nak explain kat Qeeb for his own project to explore, what game he wants to create, nak achieve aper, score cemana. But by the time nak kene present kalut2 tuh jadik copy paste jelah hahaha. Pastuh he kept comparing roblox studio yang dia cakap dia ada create game kat situ is way much easier and realistic. Ishk!

It was a 2 days class and the students will get an e-cert upon completion. 

Coffee Cup Series IV

This series mostly are coffee cup from Family Mart. There were couple of weeks where i went to Famima almost every day after drop Zafeer at school. The cup is all white, so senang for doodle.

Walk by the Lake

Throwback to somewhere between after CMCO and before another CMCO. We went for few minutes walk at the lake. Pusing2 amik gambar enjoy the fresh air. 

This small area was gated for selangor-japan friendship garde. But it was locked so not sure lah it will be opened for public or not. 

 

 

Zafeer was amused with his tshirt because it seems like his Kaw's is holding my pink Kaw's.

   

Announcement on CMCO

Today there was a press conference by Minister Ismail Sabri that Selangor, KL and Putrajaya will be under CMCO starting 14 October until 27 October. It kinda caught many of us by surprise but looking at alarming reported cases, it's a must so we can break the Covid19 chain. It has been a while since last CMCO that we forgot how it was like at that time. 

So what is MCO and CMCO again?

• Movement Control Order (MCO) - prohibits overseas travels, mass gatherings, operations of non-essential public and private premises
• Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) - re-opening of economic sectors, interstate travels prohibited etc. Cross district (‘Daerah’) travel is prohibited with the exception of staff with employer issued work pass / authorisation letter
• Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) - inter state travels are allowed (except for EMCO areas), etc

Not Just Red Zone Anymore

Apparently not just rakyat marhain jer yang surprised, state government pon surprised. Baca snippet sudaaa

Selangor govt taken aback by statewide CMCO - He said the announcement by Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob on the CMCO, comes as a surprise to the state government, which had considered proposing that the ruling be imposed only in the Petaling district where cases had spiked.

School Closure

Earlier MOE published a circular that 286 schools to be closed starting 12 Oct until 25 October. Qeeb's school was one of it. So the school quickly announced that they will continue online learning and provide homework over WhatsApp for the time being. Zafeer's preschool followed the same announcement that they will start online class starting 13 October and parents need to collect the learning materials asap. 

What we feel about this whole thing?

I totally agree with this sentiment posted by Kamal E. in his instagram. Short and precised! If you know you know lah what triggered this recent spike of Covid19 case, sbb pilihanraya kat sabah.

Semoga yang terkesan dengan tindakan semberono pihak yang kurang bertanggungjawab kekal kuat dan dimudahkan urusan. Turut sama berdukacita dengan mereka yang baru hendak membina kehidupan direntap kembali kesungguhan dan semangatnya. Harapnya ada hikmah tersembunyi disebalik ujian yang diterima
