Qeeb in Hospital for 4 Days

We went to the hospital twice. First blood test doc said ada bacteria, so he prescribed antibiotic. Then after 6 days dia still demam, doc soh buat another blood test and it was virus pulak. So this round kene admitted. At the same time he was having conjunctivitis on his right eye.

  

We stayed in the hospital from 14 - 20 June because on 2nd day, his platelet count dropped but it was not dengue. So the doc just continue with blood test and monitoring. Jeeb accompanied us during day time and then malam balik rumah to take care of Zafeer.

  

  

The hospital food, churros and Grab-ed food. We ordered and collected at the hospital lobby. Quite convenient actually because we got more options.

  

  

  

In between we went to the opthal clinic for Qeeb's eye treatment. Even though pakai steroid drops, lambat jugak recover. So Qeeb had to skip school for 8 days in total. He missed his raya event at school and all of us missed Tok Mama's birthday celebration.

Lepas discharged, we had a follow up check up with Dr.K on 25 June. Btw, paed's clinic ada outdoor playground. 

  

We also decided to check on Zafeer because he was having a prolong cough, whether we should continue his milk/ check on his diet allergy, his growth. Doc prescribed him some ubat (a lot) for one round to stop the cough and we have to make sure that the houses he's in are squeaky clean - the bed, the couch, the carpet, the cushions and such. But overall semua nya ok. Qeeb's height pon normal but slightly underweight but still considered as ok. 

  

On the same week, Qeeb's school ada parents-teacher meeting. I took time off instead of half-day leave because dah banyak sangat cuti. Totally an 'eventful' month for us. 

Raya @ RH* Durian Gala, KIara Equestrian

The main motivation to join this raya sesh was because of the durian! Well i just got back from cuti jaga Qeeb at hospital, missed some of bank's open house invitation plussss dah lama x makan durian. So consider this as treat for myself wpon terpaksa redah traffic jam.

Maximum sorang bleh amik dua. Then you gotta queue again. But after makan 8 bijik nih kitowang dah mengah lol!

  

During Ramadhan...

An annual thingy where PS gave away something (usually kurma) personally to all the staff right before Ramadhan starts. Sweet!

I rarely go to Pasar Ramadhan anymore. Beli kuih pon jarang because we buka puasa at MIL's house almost every day. So this year sekali nih jelah gigih singgah beli kuih at Milah on the way back.

As for Qeeb, he unlocked a big achievement for this Ramadhan. I was so proud to see him bangun sahur and puasa the whole day throughout the month except for first day sebab dia tak tahan. Layan jelah his whining tak boleh bukak mata time sahur. He will specifically asked for nugget 5 pieces only for sahur. If saja letak 6 pieces he won't eat the 6th one.

Dessert for the first few days untuk buka puasa and sahur. Nyumss!

  

Traffic was also extravaganza punyer jam. ETA asik increased jer...paling cepat 1 hour+ drive, tak pernah nya kurang. Serious penat!

We welcomed Famima into the area with an open arms and confetti! We sahur here once when we returned from zafeer's repeat neb at odd hours.

Second time was buka puasa with kids from orphanage and colleagues 

Zafeer Cough and Fever

For the past 2 months, Zafeer had phlegmy cough, flu and fever. Susah tido, slalu muntah and we had to take frequent neb sebab sometimes nampak dia cakap mengah.

  

  

We continued treatment at new building specifically for women and kids because they have opened up to public.  Sib the location still dekat and convenient for us.

  

  

Nebulizer bay ada 2 screen to distract the kids. Ok nih citer off topic sket because hari tuh ada this one family yang hogged both seats and layan macam cinema, siap pakai hosp blanket sebab sejuk. Zafeer cakap kuat gak that he wants to sit at that place but sumer pon wat derk. If dorang mmg tgh pakai neb dua2 station sis tak kesah tapik mohon lah alert sket facilities tuh untuk orang yang sepatutnyer.

  

Few times Zafeer kene amik ubat bontot because of high fever. I hate bagi banyak ubat so dah tried diffuse EO, lumur EO, tepuk percussion to loosen up phlegm. But bila dah reda jer...kene balik few days after that. We tried to change his susu as well but still muntah. Ada jugak time, me and Jeeb kinda lost tatau nak buat aper even though banyak suggestion from family + friends. Fatigue and lack of sleep also affects our decision making. So we just juggle and go with the flow jer with whatever on our plate at that time.

  

  

I've lost tracked dah how many times we went to the hospital, repeat neb 4 hourly in a day. Even odd hours pon kitowang redah jugak. Dengan ada time tuh lift still rosak so berdukung laaa turun naik bawak si Zafeer sbb tanak dia semput (wpon papa dia yang semput and lenguh tangan). On first day raya dia demam. Second day raya we repeat again pegi hospital back and forth sebab nak travel to PD tanak demam/ batuk dia melarat.

  

  

Anyways, klinik or hospital actually sama jer sebab kitowang pegi for neb only. Bila sebut hospital cam serious sangat bunyik nyer kan. Since we pakai GL, so it valid for 24 hours. Nak buat 4 hourly neb kat klinik after 10.00pm dah tutup pulak. Besides dolu Zafeer demam panas pernah kene fit, so we were being extra kan cheong kengkadang tuh. Allah cuma bagi ujian sikit jer kat kami supaya lebih bersabar dan sentiasa berdoa untuk kesihatan yang baik. Insya Allah semoga kita semua sihat walafiat and dapat menjalani rutin harian smoothly.
