First Lou Sang

It has been awhile since we last came to KSA. Chinese restaurant here, Kenanga sells yee sang, so almost every year we have yee sang from here. Dolu makan sana terus, but nowadays take away jer. This year i bought 2 large box for team’s lunch the next day. Dah alang2 beli, i got one smaller box for makan sendiri kat rumah.

  

Noticed ada cafe baru (not sure how baru) kat lobby, the cake looks good too. Next time nak try lah.

  

Apparently Qeeb enjoys eating yee sang as much as i am. So it was a fun first lou sang session with the fam. 

  

CNY Decor @ Mid Valley

I love festive decor at the mall and used to mall hopping to take pictures. I think malls in Malaysia really put up an effort to decorate the mall ikot festive theme. Especially big malls like Sunway Pyramid, KLCC, Mid Valley, The Gardens. Ira and Diba rajin nak melayan amik gambar kat centre court nie so why not!

Anyways the main reason we went to Mid Valley was to get bday pressie for our colleagues. In January alone we have 6 birthday babies! Nina went to find something for birthday boys while me follow Ira to get YSL lipstick for birthday girls.The engraving service is free btw.

CNY Money Packet 2022

This year’s interesting CNY money packet that we received. This one was from BNPP using velvet paper material. Pegang pon best smooth jer so nampak naik the embroidery design. 

This one is my favourite. Retro style from Citi. Cool buat scrapbook neh!

This one was from OCBC. Got 4 colors inside one packet. Bila combined all 4 dapat a full picture of dragon. 

Ada banyak lagik money packets yang lain. But this year, i refrained myself from taking one design each. Instead i just choose design yang i minat and amik 1 piece only. Well, except for Citi because i planned to guna for my scrapbook. Satu drawer penuh kat rumah tuh tah biler nak filter tah.

Virtual CNY 2021

This year we gathered virtually via Zoom together with the Chin, Oh, Pat Yee and Uncle Wim. It was nice to see everyone in a pink of health. Karen siap connect to her big tv screen so can see everyone and nak screenshot pon clear haha. 

Sis was outside, memula eksen tanak join. Paksa gak dia install Zoom lol! Nama pon mobile so can join anywhere lah khen. 

Had yee sang twice this year. First one tossed kat rumah MIL beli from Chinese Muslim restaurant. Second time beli yang pre-packed yee sang and add on pear nak bagi juicy sket. 

My super thoughtful lunch gang, Heli and Amy sent over 8 colorful flavours on CNY's eve haha! 

    

I also bought some donuts because it was KiutKiut's birthday apparently, lol! They had CNY theme.

We gathered for CNY bbq and yee sang. The only family photo yang quite terang, gambar Jeeb ter out of frame pulak.

There's a neighbourhood surau nearby. So me and Jeeb enjoyed the short stroll. Surau takde orang though, time kitowang sampai pak imam just about to leave. Then we start to makan2.
