Farewell & Wedding @ Office

It was a 2 in 1 celebration. Farewell for abg Halim yang dah nak retire and also to celebrate the newly wed, Neo & Aud.

    

To set the ‘wedding’ mood, Nina ordered nasi kenduri, Rhxn bawak bunga manggar, most of us pakai baju Hani Mokh macam the dulang girls. We also pasang kompang sound time walk down the ‘aisle’, lol! They already had their traditional reception, so this one we turned it into malay wedding style.

Lunch @ Common Man Coffee Roasters

Had lunch at Common Man Coffee Roasters with colleagues before our meeting at G’s office nearby. Senang parking, coffee and food pon sedap. Definitely coming back here again. 

 

Me and Yatie shared the pancake and sandwiches so we can rasa both because the portion is big. If sorang makan satu jenis jer dah kenyang.

  

Then we were off to a meeting at First Ave

Virtual Tahlil & Bacaan Yasin for Arwah MSB

Arwah MSB was my boss in current company. Kenal dia few years before zaman Pernec and we worked in a same project for a while. Tak work directly with him yet time tuh but penah satu team ngan dia main bowling. He was a good bowler btw. Then he tukar kerja masuk MEPS, skali ngan kak Ita and few years later i joined his team under IBG. Seorang yang calm and wise, slalu aper yang dia cakap tuh well thought and tersusun. Everyone in the company yang kenal arwah rasa sedih when we got the news. 

Alhamdulillah dapat joined this virtual tahlil and bacaan Yasin untuk arwah En. Mat Saad

Seeing old names and faces of ex colleagues in Pernec, rindu zaman kejer kat PNB dulu. Since ada yang shared the link, so ada kengkawan from MEPS, MYC and PYN also joined. Even yang dah resigned from PYN pon ada. 

Ramai hormat and remember him as a wise boss, a good mentor and friend. Murah rezeki En. MSB time hembuskan nafas terakhir family disisi, dapat minta maaf, and people remember him benda yang baik2 jer. He will be missed!

Lunch @ Rasa Viet, Bangsar South

If our rotation to go to the office overlapped, bleh lah gi makan ngan lunch partner. Amy wanted to join but last minute can't make it. Iols tingin nak makan pho, so Heli and I went to Rasa Viet. My fave is the one with grilled chicken (RM20.40 each). We added on grilled beef in betel leaf (RM13.90) ada about 6 pcs and tried the drip vietnam coffee. Semua pon sedappplah!

One of the main objectives was to exchange barang dagangan and to collect my parcel yang ter-route to office. I bought 2 jars of jeruk mangga from Heli yang she bought in her area, hence the big bag she carried around, lol! Crunchy and addictive wey! In one seating jer abes!

 

Gab's Birthday Lunch @ Apollo, Bangsar

On 2nd Sep, i made a solo trip to Bangsar to join Gab's birthday lunch at Apollo. Most of them went to the office since morning so dekat lah sket nak gi Bangsar. As for me yang gigih nak join because timing just nice since Qeeb balik awal from school and i wanted to have some interaction with other people haha.

  

The birthday squad. Actually the whole team forgot to wish Gab on his birthday. Haha until somebody teringat baru lah boss cakap haa jom lunch.

I had percik ciken roulade. The portion is small but filling. The coffee was nice too but cannot take away hehe.

  

Then departed, ada yang pegi meeting tempat lain, balik office or balik rumah to continue work. I managed to singgah Lubuk Bangku kejap to tapau gulai daging salai for dinner. Nyums!

Division Teambuilding @ Bijan, KL

We had a division teambuilding in a restaurant. It was kinda 2 in 1 gathering, for the teambuilding itself, straight to makan2 cum farewell party for SKT whos' leaving the co. for an early retirement. We occupied the whole restaurant before they start opened to public for dinner. 

  

  

  

AJK teambuilding arranged an Ukulele lesson for all of us. The instructor brought colourful ukulele so we can do a hands on. I've always wanted to belajar but tgk youtube pon cam tak paham. Even blajar depan2 nih pon tak brapa paham lol! Because the steps getting more difficult, it's fun but difficult to memorise the count.

Dah abes practice with the instructor, we have about 30-40mins to practice with own group. Glad we have a volunteer Luqman to be the singer. The rest just need to goyang2 and follow the cue. 

      

Nih team yang menang no. 1. Tgk team member pon tau dah yang happening bab2 performance haha.

  

And my team won 2nd. *throw confetti* wpon rasa cam out of sync. 

  

After dinner, SKT bagi ucapan sket and then MK as his successor handed over our farewell gift. We got him a Tag Heuer watch.

I parked at next building....an automated parking. Settled for the day but i feel dragged kene drive memalam in the rain. Dia jadi intense driving because kene extra alert.
