Merdeka 2021

This year packed ngan Merdeka virtual celebration with school. Sib baik lahh jumpe balik Merdeka flags yang dah tersorok dalam file belakang lemari.

1) Selfie of Merdeka themed. Pakai baju melayu and gantung bendera jadiklah

2) Online class and virtual celebration. Qeeb's school ada buat FB live with original singer of Saya Anak Malaysia. Coincidentally, Zafeer's class pon tgh buat art and craft sambil pasang same song. His fav by far compared to other songs. 

  

 

3) Familiar with our Jalur Gemilang colors. By the time abes color 2 flags dah abes kontot red and blue, lol!

4) Jeeb also did Merdeka ads and it was printed on newspaper BH and NST. Wohooo! So proud of him

Merdeka Holiday @ Tamarind Square

We had a long weekend sempena Hari Merdeka. So on Sunday tuh, we went to Tamarind Square sebab cam dah lama tak pegi, nak carik some activity books for the kids and im pretty sure the open area tuh ada macam2 lined up event.

The lighting was kind, not too hot nor too gloomy.

  

  

  

We went up till 3rd floor. Apparently ada offices here. Cam best jugak if kejer area sini.

Then we went to makan2. Don't know which cafe to choose, we opted for food truck jelah sebab leh try macam2. 

  

  

After that we went to BookXcess, ada exhibition of late Yasmin happening at that time.

  

  

It's time to go back biler dah start jalan tahap seret kaki!

  

Hari Merdeka ke-61

Selamat Hari Merdeka everyone!

I am truly Malaysian! 

Happy 59th Merdeka Day, Malaysia!

Alhamdulillah our country dah 59 tahun merdeka. During merdeka’s eve ari tuh we enjoyed 8 minutes of fireworks right from our balcony and just wearing pj’s. Takde pokok or other buildings yang block, just a clear view of everything. It was really nice because that was our first experience since staying there. The finale tuh yang cun but i already stopped taking shots because i thought cam samaaaa jer sumer hahaha.

 

 

 

Naqeeb asked me a question the following morning “Bila kita nak merdeka?”. I dont know how to answer it! Really! At that time he can relates merdeka with flag, fireworks and cuti. But how I’m gonna explain the whole thing about peace & war, patriotism? Sounds to heavy plak, dalam kepala dok carik ada ker orang dok share some sort of simple video/ animation about what is independence day celebration is all about? Again tgh hari tuh dia tanya lagi “Bila kita anak merdeka?” omg ok Qeeb, i think i know what you were trying to do! let’s merdeka ourselves from the house and go somewhere. To the park sounds sans money. 

We had a short walk keliling the park area. Jeeb let Qeeb pushed the stroller *cough*. After one round i just wanted to sit hahaha. Sebaik memang ada tikar lipat dalam keta. 

 

Who said going to the park no need to spend money again?! I paid RM5 for the bubbles and managed to convinced Qeeb that he did not need drinks other than the air kosong that i brought. RM5 for a few minutes of me-time and enjoyed watching him running around carefree. 

 

Si Zafeer sempat gak pekene susu 2 das and nap kat situ.

 

 

We discovered that Zafeer geli rumput! Lepas bagi dia try2 pegang tuh dia trus refused to pegang dah. Biler crawl pon kat edge tikar jer hahaha.

 

Itulahhh citer merdeka kami ^.^ Doa ku smoga Malaysia aman & damai for my kids to live in.
