Lou Sang with Familia

My 3rd yee sang this year was from Dolly Dim Sum. This round with fish skin instead of the usual salmon. Lawak tol time tossing tuh…instead of the usual cakap out loud whatever we wish, i read some text then everybody said ‘sao dao’ which means ‘received!’ 

Here’s the kecoh video hahahaha. The text yang i baca tuh was based on video yang GLC friends shared. Ingat nak buat time kitowang yee sang lunch nanti. But confirm shy2 nak buat kat public, ngalahkan orang yang beraya lol!

Tok Mama added the last one….”Astaghfirullah” hahahaha! She said she was looking forward to toss the yee sang and had fun tossing sama2.

K.Liza gave some macarons from her bouquet flower. It was her birthday on 20 Jan which was one of the reason we gathered here on weekends. She also gave me a belated birthday present along with ole2 from Bangkok. I feel bad tak give her anything pon for her birthday. Nanti lah try to carik something for her.. 

Weekend Lunch & Visiting

First pergi potong rambut the boys kasik hensem2. If tunggu petang usually ramai. While waiting, sis layan taufoofa dulu. Then dah alang2 masuk waktu lunch, we decided makan kat Kueh next door terus. Usually i Grab-ed the kuih, tak pernah makan kat kedai. So this was our first time here. 

  

Lookedet! Rows and stacks of kuih mueh memang buat tergoda lah nak choose macam2.

We had bihun soto, kuih, nasi lemak. Food sampai cepat!

  

 

Then we went to Karen’s house in KD. We’ve been planning to pass the YL diffuser which i helped to buy it since December last year and we never get the timing right. So this round berjaya passed it to her! After that we singgah Tok Ma’s house pulak and spent couple of hours there.

Rejeki jiran bagi nasi ambang. We bawak balik some for dinner. Sedappp! Anyways, Tok Ma’s house tengah dilanda kutu kucing from stray cats. So they had to lock 2 house cats inside the toilet so that the cat flea stop jumping around. Comey jer k.Shua put sticky note depan pintu toilet.

  

Year End Gathering @ Tok Ma’s

We spent the day at MIL on the last day of 2022. The kids pon dah lama tak jumpe Tok Mama. Kak Shua ordered food from The Social - pizza, fried koay tiaw, salad and duck wrap. Kak Lipah topped up with spaghetti bolognese and we tambah takoyaki from Gindaco

Jeeb took a closer look of the French magazine yang published his artwork of Squid Game characters. Fuhh, 4 full colored pages dorang letak and credit his name and IG. They sent over hardcopy of the magazine for us to indulge hehe

School Holiday Bowling and Archery

We went to bowling with my anak2 fruit sempena cuti sekolah. Jumpe dorang kat Berjaya Times Square and Adly dah sort out the bowling lane and setup nama semua. Sampai2 terus main hehe. Too bad DD tak dapat join so tak dapat full quorum of my not-so-little rugrats. 

   

Zafeer and his first strike moment. His throw not bad at all and he was among the top scorer gituh! Jeeb last minute dapat score tinggi and i was second kot lol! 

Since we’re feeling sporty and adventurous laidat, we decided to try out archery pulak. Apparently boleh tahan lenguh gak dorang nak pull the bow tuh. Zafeer and Qeeb tak larat nak abeskan the arrow so i transferred some of it to Jeeb sebab nak abeskan cepat haha. I think Qeeb prefers archery than bowling since dia managed to get bull eyes aim. 

 

Pehtu gi lunch. At first we queued kat 4Fingers…lama gak. But when it was our turn orang cashier cakap lama nak kene tunggu because ada big orders. In fact ada orang sblom us yang dah bising2 tunggu lama kat situ. So we tukar tempat pergi kopitiam instead and somehow i termissed Zafeer punyer food lol! Kesiannn dia kene tunggu lama and tgk yang lain makan. Sib lah dia jenis sabar menanti and still in a good mood. 

Alhamdulillah for the rezeki and time well spent with LOML and favourite bunch! 

 

Farewell for Kak Sue

Kak Sue has been our helper since Zafeer was born. Which means almost 7 years she stayed with us. Dia jaga Zafeer since baby, kendong sana sini, memang obvious lah Zafeer attached to her. Dahler mamat tuh very expressive, dia akan cakap depan2 dia sedih kak sue is leaving, sayang and going to miss her. Few months before tuh we already prepped him, dia dah start sedih2 dah time tuh. Ada time malam dia susah nak tido sbb sedih sangat. Both pon lah few times drama air mata. 

We were so thankful yang K.Sue nih very discipline in terms of timing siapkan kerja, tak pernah request pinjam duit, she made it easy for us to live together in the same house, even before she left she made sure semua baju, pinggan, lantai, toilet semua dah bersih. Few times okwed cases tuh biasalah. 

Glad dia dah selamat sampai kampung together with her sedara, Hani. We can’t send her kat airport pon time tuh because she was waiting for flight tickets from her agent. So tup2 tau jer dia dah kene standby kat airport and kids pon time tuh kat school. Now and then she asked for video call lepas rindu kat the kids especially Zafeer. 

She left before 1 week before Ramadhan and school opens. But we dah mentally prepared and ready to embrace a drastic new routine. Household chores, school transit, cooking and so on. Just doa yang baik2, insya-Allah. 

Haircut Time

The boys were the longest one yang tak keluar rumah. Rambut panjang sememeh jer and i had to cut twice sebab Qeeb dah super rimas...masuk telinga lah geli lah. Zafeer lak bepeloh rambut tebal. Wpon CMCO dah lifted for quite some time, we put on hold for a little while more.

    

 

Baru lah cerah sikit muka masing2 dah nampak dahi and telinga. 

 

Since Zafeer will masuk standard 1 next year, we went to take passport photos siap2 in case nak kene isik form sana sini nanti. Grab home some donuts and coffees too

   

Lunch @ Shin Nihon, Desa Sri Hartamas

Lunch treat for my little family at Shin Nihon. When i suggested this place after tgk Heli and Amy went here, Cheep lit up. The place kene booked dolu to avoid disappointment. Nervous tol tak dapat parking because the place is super busy, but Alhamdulillah rezeki dapat parking bebetol depan kedai, 

  

  

The boys were curious what we were going to eat, grill cemana. Bile dah took the first bite, trus demand over supply. Lol! tak sempat nak masak semua dah berebut nak nak nak!

 

 

We were clueless what to order so based on Heli's recommendation we ordered the same thing. Japanese wagyu is a must, then topped up with Australian wagyu.

  

Our first experience was perfect. Japanese wagyu tuh sedap sangat no need to order yang marinade one. Before this tried wagyu steak or burger patty, so cam tak rasa sangat. This one totally different our tastebud meletus2 gituh., lol!

 

Then we walked to the next block to find coffee. Ada banyak je cafe but i don't know my bearing because i'm not familiar with the area. Ada cafe yang kene queue. So we just chose Starbucks because nampak tuh dolu kat corner lot. Jeeb was drawing, the boys enjoyed the lunch so much that they said thank you couple of times, Zafeer was feeling sleepy and i just sipping my coffee feeling grateful for everything.

  

Jeeb sempat drew my small bag yang cam dah  nak meletop dengan macam2 benda sumbat dalam tuh. Do i need a bigger bag? Haha not really, lagik banyak benda masuk lagi berat.
