This Bridge

To those mysterious lands you long to see:

Through gypsy camps and swirling Arab fairs

And moonlit woods where unicorns run free.

So come and walk awhile with me and share

The twisting trails and wondrous worlds I’ve known.

But this bridge will only take you halfway there–

The last few steps you’ll have to take alone.

Sick

“I cannot go to school today,”

Said little Peggy Ann McKay.

I have the measles and the mumps,

A gash, a rash and purple bumps.

My mouth is wet, my throat is dry,

I’m going blind in my right eye.

My tonsils are as big as rocks,

I’ve counted sixteen chicken pox.

And there’s one more—that’s seventeen,

And don’t you think my face looks green?

My leg is cut, my eyes are blue—

It might be instamatic flue.

I cough and sneeze and gasp and choke,

I’m sure that my left leg is broken—

My hips hurt when I move my chin,

My belly button’s caving in,

My back is wrenched, my ankle’s sprained,

My ‘pendix pains each time it rains.

My nose is cold, my toes are numb,

I have a silver in my thumb.

My neck is stiff, my voice is weak,

I hardly whisper when I speak.

My tongue is filling up my mouth,

I think my hair is falling out.

My elbow’s bent, my spine ain’t straight,

My temperature is one-o-eight.

My brain is shrunk, I cannot hear,

There is a hole inside my ear.

I have a hangnail, and my hart is—what?

What’s that? What’s that you say?

You say today is… Saturday?

G’bye, I’m going out to play!

Zafeer and Nap

 Zafeer loves to nap. Sometimes dah lewat petang baru rasa mengantok tak boleh bincang and he knows that i won't allow him to sleep sebab nanti malam susah tido. But dia still cuba nasib jugak. If i have an on-going meeting he will masuk senyap2 and tarik slimut tido dengan aman because i won't perasan and nak terus sound pon tak boleh. The other tactic was he will play around inside the room, and i'm so kusyuk laidat buat kejer know2 jer bilik dah senyap and pusing jer tengok dia dah berbungkus cam taco bell.  

   

Breakfast Date with Sis and Adly @ Burrow, BSC

Meet up with le Sis at BSC to have breakfast. Tapau coffee, canele and nasi lemak. Lepas tuh decided to makan jelah kat sana senang sket nak borak. Ingat nak gi Huckleberry but waiting list panjang gak so we went to Dome instead since ada open area seating. 

 

Lamaaaa tak jumpe and catch up with le sis. Masing2 takot nak dine in, nak jumpe family sendiri pon cuak takot sendiri carry virus, then nak kene tunggu dah fully vaccinated and habis pantang.

Pineapple Box

Boss suddenly asked Secretary Kim to arrange for a delivery to some of the team members. A box of pineapple by Fionanas! 

Came in a nice box sesuai as a gift, a card and yang penting dah potong. Leh terus makan! Yang i dapat this ada part manis and masam. Such a healthy snack, lol! Biler makan sejuk2 cannot stop.
