Farewell for Kak Sue

Kak Sue has been our helper since Zafeer was born. Which means almost 7 years she stayed with us. Dia jaga Zafeer since baby, kendong sana sini, memang obvious lah Zafeer attached to her. Dahler mamat tuh very expressive, dia akan cakap depan2 dia sedih kak sue is leaving, sayang and going to miss her. Few months before tuh we already prepped him, dia dah start sedih2 dah time tuh. Ada time malam dia susah nak tido sbb sedih sangat. Both pon lah few times drama air mata. 

We were so thankful yang K.Sue nih very discipline in terms of timing siapkan kerja, tak pernah request pinjam duit, she made it easy for us to live together in the same house, even before she left she made sure semua baju, pinggan, lantai, toilet semua dah bersih. Few times okwed cases tuh biasalah. 

Glad dia dah selamat sampai kampung together with her sedara, Hani. We can’t send her kat airport pon time tuh because she was waiting for flight tickets from her agent. So tup2 tau jer dia dah kene standby kat airport and kids pon time tuh kat school. Now and then she asked for video call lepas rindu kat the kids especially Zafeer. 

She left before 1 week before Ramadhan and school opens. But we dah mentally prepared and ready to embrace a drastic new routine. Household chores, school transit, cooking and so on. Just doa yang baik2, insya-Allah. 

Lunch @ Kedai Kopi Kebun, SA

After beli kasut skolah, we dropped by this quite new cafe at PSA called Kedai Kopi Kebun. It’s located at the corridor yang i never knew existed haha. Glad to see now the mall is utilising all the space. Time kitowang pegi tuh the menu seems quite limited so we opt for Mee Rebus. Rasa tuh ada but the kuah tuh cam a bit mixture of pekat and cair. So the thickness tuh tak sekata…something like that. 

They have a limited seating area but quite cosy

Zafeer is Toothless

He lost his front tooth few weeks before school opens! He was really brave though to cabut sendiri, tiap2 hari goyangkan the loose tooth. Skali tuh tercabut time tengah makan. Nasib tak tertelan skali haha. Few days later another front tooth tercabut. OMG, first question that popped out was cemana nak makan? of course like any other kids yang takde gigi, he manages it.

 

He was a bit conscious when i said nak amik gambar. But trus ok when i said i wanted to show papa. Today he looks like cute gramp takde front teeth. Rasa cam nak picit2 jer dia!

Tested Covid19 Positive

Are you one of the coronavirgin? Seems like almost every other person i know were affected by the virus. My UTM gang siap cakap siapa yang last kena blanja, lol! Because all of us kena berderet2 and my cousin also caught the virus around the same time. On a serious note, it's not something to be taken lightly and of course nobody wants to get sick. The experience and ordeal was no small feat. 

My symptoms started earlier of the week, rasa seram sejuk but i just ignore it. Minom vitC rasa refresh balik. But on Thursday 11 March, i woke up feeling lethargic. Lebih kurang rasa cam side effect after vaccine. I rarely get sick (usually headache jer the most) and i forgot how fever feels like. Check temperature it was 39! Lepas tuh baru rasa shivering lah, weak lah. Since Naqeeb had fever last weekend and he tested negative with self test kit so i just assume it's viral fever first. My fever day 2 still high, so i went to Avisena. Since i have all the symptoms, the doc did blood test and RTK. Had to wait for about 30minutes for the result. Siap mintak Jeeb belikan kopi siap2 before balik but tak dapat sbb kedai temp closed. 

  

The doc came back. Saw him suit up, pakai glove, ppe and shield depan pintu. I saw a glimpse of judging look. Seriously, rasa cam dia nak announce that i'm terminally ill or something. But when you are sick, the brain kinda lembap to react. He gave me the pathology test result. "Your test result is positive" He explained aper nak kene buat and all, supply ubat aper, quarantine brapa hari, update MySejahtera etc. Since Jeeb close contact so he did RTK as well to be sure. Alhamdulillah negative for him and hope remains that way including the boys. And of course i have to inform my boss and the company as well. I contacted HR because i wanted to know if i can claim the RTK test and alhamdulillah dapat full claim. They arranged to send over some care package too. 

  

 

Basically the past few days kinda blurry and drowsy. I thought i can binge netflix and blogging. Pasang jugak niat nak buat kejer offline yang lama tertunggak because i need to catchup with deadlines. There's always a BUT on benda yang we cannot control. I cannot really sleep or rest despite feeling tired and brain fog. Malam jer temperature naik balik and bila tertido mesti berpeloh kat belah leher. Other than fever, i had nose block, sore throat, slight cough, suara pon bertukar cam jantans. I just kept monitor my temperature and oxygen level.

Alhamdulillah i'm feeling much better today on Day 5. From Cat2a now changed to Cat1 and home surveillance order will end on 17 March. Can't believe i was part of Covid cases stats. I'm so thankful it was only a common effect and appreciate friends yang sent over some support and TLC like air kelapa, vits, fruits and food. You guys are the best!

Snacks @ 7-Cafe, Seksyen 7 SA

The only 7eleven cafe yang ada kat SA at the moment is at Seksyen 7. Just because ada 7 kot they chose this outlet first haha. So satu kegigihan lah singgah this 7-Cafe because we wanted to try their croffle which is kinda raved at the moment. 

  

They have a lot of breads and pastries, coffee pon not bad actually. The croffle is to die for. Cumanya the outlet is a small unit, takde space nak duduk makan pon so we had to eat dalam keta while it was still hot. Nikmattt campor lak time tuh tengah hujan, lol! 

  

Ada mango sticky rice summore. Sedap but pulut lagi banyak dari mango and kuah. So cannot abes

Trip to Port Dickson 2022

2D1N trip to Port Dickson on 26 Feb 2022. This time we brought K.Sue jenjalan beach before dia balik Indo. Usually memang tak bawak because limitation of extra room/beds and all, besides it’s just okwed and hassle to manage another adult. I’ve been wanting to makan kat Kedai Hayyan Huda, so this is the perfect timing to singgah since we’re heading south. We reached there just in time kedai baru start bukak, tuh pon meja filling up fast. We ordered lemak salai, ayam goreng, ikan keli etc. Alhamdulillah sedap, the kids pon layan makan. 

   

  

We tapau-ed some cakes and kuih untuk makan kat PD nanti. Queue nak bayar ngan queue collect cake agak confusing. Rupanya kitowang salah queue but nasib ada yang bagi chance selit in between sebab kitowang dah beratur quite sometime gak kat chiller cake nie. 

 

By the time we left the place dah full house and nak kluar parking pon susah because of deadlock depan kedai since takde orang jaga traffic. I think one of the customers turun and dia yang hold incoming traffic so that yang stucked boleh kluar. 

  

We were back on the road and ETA was 2pm. Kinda too early to check in so bila lalu this stretch trus ehh why not singgah Muzium Tentera. Because all this while lalu tapik tak pernah singgah. It was in the middle of noon, so rasa cam cray2 jugak lah nak singgah here. But better than melangut somewhere i guess. I nak susun ikot chronology pon maleh so here’s the photodump inside the Muzium…campor2 dah luar, dalam and bawah tunnel. 

  

Bawah tunnel is my favourite section. Because dah jalan peluh2 kat luar tuh tiber discover this little entrance macam secret garden. Bila masuk cam wow, fully air-conditioned and best pulak tuh the display. It was really well maintained. 

  

  

  

  

Rifle, sniper, grenade, bullets, macam2 pisau semua ada. Also ada different2 section cam zaman jajahan jepun, inggeris, belanda. I think it’s very interesting and help school kids yang belajar sejarah to relate.

  

 

  

Ada small taman here where they jual merchandise, tshirts and drinks. So duduk kejap to hilang kan peluh. Ada small pond with fishes if you want to feed can buy roti from the kedai. Ada mini bridges fefeeling walking from one tree to another tree, pondok if nak duduk makan situ pon boleh. So after about 1.5 hours camtuh we left because the kids pon dah bising panas, my head pon almost medium fried. But definitely a worth impromptu pitstop.

  

   

Back on the road and straight to Solesor. It’s at another part of PD that we never been before. Cam masuk dalam kawasan kampung and then tiba2 ada satu resort. Saw few other training centres including DRB too kat this area. Bestuh dapat location near the beach, ada campsite summore which i think tak ramai tau.

 

  

  

  

The Family Villa kontena. It consists of 2 units, 1 is the master bedroom with a living room and toilet. The other unit ada 2 single beds with a toilet. Fully air-conditioned, ada water heater, tv etc. But each unit ada own door and it’s not connected from inside. This part jelah yang i confused at first. So if next time nak pegi again have to consider this factor because if kids sleep on their own kat unit yang ada 2 single beds cam scary plak because they have to lock/unlock sendiri the door. If they want to reach out to us, kene kluar bilik. The furniture semua are well designed to keep everything minimal and compact. 

The boys tak sabar nak jump into the pool so they quickly changed to shorts. We found a perfect spot between the pool and the beach. Order kuih and ice cream for minom petang. Can order coffee any time. Jeeb did his drawing while i layan phone upload IG stories hak hak.

  

  

We stayed for sunset and posing kat tepi2 tempat tambak nie sambil tunggu dinner slot opens. The room is inclusive dinner and breakfast btw. Ada orang layan tangkap ikan, while kak sue buat hal sendiri and went missing for couple of hours. I think she video called tah sapa2 tah sambil posing kat tetengah tambak. Jenuh nak call dia soh datang makan dinner sama before balik bilik. 

  

  

  

Dinner was simple and nice. Portion cam tak banyak i think they only replenish based on crowd. We were the first family makan sini hahaha. Ada singing performance to entertain diners. I enjoyed poie pokan song hopkos…baru lah feel duk kat Nogori Semilan. 

  

Lepas tuh semua balik bilik mandi and the boys dah malas nak kluar balik because they wanted to play game. So me and Jeeb jer kluar pegi tengok fire performance. Rugi dorang tak ikot because best! Bonus for us sebab sambung dating minom coffee lepas tuh. Take advantage lah since K.Sue was around to babysit the boys kat bilik. Malam tuh after few adjustments sapa tido mana, in the end zafeer tido ngan k.sue kat single beds and 3 of us berimpit kat king bed. Qeeb memula nak tido kat tv area on bean bags but after couple of hours dia tak selesa kot trus mintak tido skali. 

 

  

  

  

Awesome fire performance

  

The next morning we had breakfast. Nasi lemak bungkus dia sedap. Breakfast spread not bad at all. Then the boys nak sambung main pool. We went for a morning walk and tunggu turn nak amik gambar kat this swing. 

  

  

 

  

  

  

I love the whole space and the vibrant color. Staff pon very attentive. But kene pikir room arrangements if we are coming back for another stay here.
