Confession of a Photobookaholic
I want to share me and bebudak GLC punyer addiction. We love to borong beli photobook! So far yang menduduki carta is Dani. We support each other dari software support, upload gambar, sampai lah ke delivery process which i think lagik episen dapat answers dari tanya direct ngan photobook printer! Stress sama2 and kasik smangat nak siapkan within deadline pon ye jugak. Lepas tuh ada session tunjuk hasil2 photobook hehe. So this is my new additional photobook collection ♥ by PhotoTalkz. Managed to siapkan at the very last minit, on expiry date baru terkial2 nak hantar 3 skali harung. Lepas tuh mintak discount courier. Sib baik lah orang tuh layan. So i paid RM20 instead of RM30. Amazingly siap cepat giler within 3 days and time receive tuh rasa waaaah puas giler.
My challenge nak siapkan this batch was, ada yang pakai gambar lama using ixus camera and G7. So biler nak display besar2 or zoom in, banyak yang x lepas sbb jadik low resolution. Tuh yang tambah stress nak siapkan cepat. Pakai gambar yang amik pakai X100 senang giler, zoom lah lagu mana pon still maintain quality cantik. I think lepas ni i have to check balik setting my ixus camera to resolution plg tinggi.
Merasa ler print gambar wedding wpon cuma outdoor pixies. Gambar wedding reception jer yang tak siap2 nak print kat photobook :P Sampai dah basi dah. At least ok lah still ada intention nak buat dari x dapat langsung my wedding video from cousin sampai skang & duit pon x dapat balik. Eh...ok ok stop. For this album i added title kat spine, so biler susun tu nampak lah title album aper. But ada plak blunder tak sama, satu all caps, dua lagik upper lower case. Ishkk saket mata...bukan boleh nengok error camnie.
Nih plak albums ari tuh yang printed kat Photobook Malaysia. I used gambar raya last year for my first attempt nak buat photobook, mmg noob abes and layout pon bare jer. Masuk second one, i did Langkawi photos baru ada feel sket. Besides gambar banyak giler yang boleh pakai as penghias background.
I love placement gambar one full page. Bab2 design nie very subjective, kadang2 biler amik upah buat album tok orang this is one of the things yang buat i cuak. Ada yang suker tp so far alhamdulillah takde yang complaint (or maybe tak sampai kat aku hehe). Tapik my own album ari tuh ada my friend tgk dia comment naper tak penohkan gambar kat some pages, sayang space. Lol, artistic maaa. Slalu ada 2 reason jer, either mmg nampak better that way dari mata sepetku or tak cukup gambar yang cun e.g gmbr blur/ terpejam and so on.
Comparison between these 2 printers, PhotoTalkz best sbb provide slipcase to protect the album. Kertas pon tebal but in terms of quality printing i think Photobook M'sia nampak gambar lagik sharp and color lagik naik. The last one yang ada pocket window tuh was printed by SnapFish (U.S mari) and it's free sbb renew Flickr kot. Nih baru 6, hopefully more photobooks to come and more cash to borong photobook hak hak.
Nota kaki: Skang kan almost everyone pakai digital camera, so between shots amik lah jugak gambar scenery/ environment/ objects. Kalo susun sumer gambar muka jer boring jugak kan? cam takde space for mata nak rehat biler tgk album. You will never know when gambar ngarut2 tuh comes handy :)

Sunway Pyramid Walk Hunt 2012
I joined a walk hunt for the first time organized by my company. So on one fine saturday morning, around 8.30am aku dah terpacak kat dlm Sunway Pyramid and the mall wasn't even open yet. Me and colleagues gathered at Simply Penang and had a light breakfast. Then around 9.30 the organizer, Pava's Hunt gave a briefing to team leader on the do's and don'ts.

All of us getting ready to walk sampai lebam, literally. That was my first time walking like a headless chicken for 2 hours at 2nd and 3rd floor of Sunway Pyramid. Giler ah mmg nak interpret a riddle isn't my forte. But at least i learned something lah jugak. So that next treasure hunt ada idea how to think out of the box sket :P Ada hati ker nak join lagi neh heheh.
Lepas dah abes seksa jalan carik jawapan, kol 11am all of us gathered again at Simply Penang to submit our answers and makan. Here's my team member, aku main nyelit jer tuh yang jadik im the only pompuan in this group...nama Triple X gittew! The group requirement is to have a combination of girls and boys.
Suasana almost everyone inside Simply Penang nak settle down. Penoh satu kedai...yang section blah kanan tak nampak in this photo.
Nih other group yang joined...tak dapat nak amik gambar sumer because the place is a bit crowded and i had enuff of standing and walking already hehe. Coincidentally group yang aku mik gambar sumernya top 3. Group rina at 3rd place, group bebudak finance and compliance at 2nd place, and group dila won 1st place (gmbr ada tp maleh nak upload sbb blur).
Eh x abes tunjuk gambar lagik dah citer saper menang hahaha. Sblom announce winner tu kitowang makan2 dolu.
Then baru Pava's Hunt tunjuk soklan and jawaban kat screen. Anxious betol tunggu dia tunjuk answers one by one but lepas tuh keciwa je lebey sbb answers tak sama...ke laut trus. Ada lah dalam few questions we got it right, tp sket sangat sbb tuh tak menang hahahaha!
Last but not least, group photo of everyone including the winners with their prizes. It was fun! But lepas tuh ilang rasa fun because i forgot where i parked my car. Gara2 tgk banyak sangat shops, i can't recall which first shop that i saw when i entered the mall. Sib baik jumpe car park helpdesk, so i described which entrance i took and where did i parked my car and they found it! Phew. Tak spasal tambah lagik satu ektibiti carik my own treasure (my car) kat dalam car park.

Birthday Zayd & Zyad 2012 @ YuKids Island, The Curve
Dilla was my old friend back in SMPB and TIKL. But after that we only contact each other thru facebook, dari zaman dia kene kejer kat Qatar, kawen and dah beranak. I watched her twins grown up since newborn sampai dah 1 year old....time flies! One day she asked me about Qeeb's birthday party and then trus meleret2 sampai she wants Party Candy to do some party packs and candy bouquet for her twins birthday party at YuKids Island, The Curve.
Time sampai cam ala2 segan sbb dah lama sangat tak jumpe and i don't know her circle of friends. Except that ingat2 luper her mom used to be penolong kanan kat SMPB, her sis was in the same school jugak, and our computer teacher, cikgu Zaidi was related to her. Oh, one more familiar face, the official photographer AzamHashim the one yang amik gambar outdoor Qeeb. Soo ok lar ada gak yang kenal, layan je lah.
The personalized candy bouquet with ZZ's name. There were 4 bouquet actually consist of lollies and biscuits.
The custom party packs with Safari theme. Dilla also ordered custom mineral bottle label ^.^ Check out Party Candy if you're interested yea.
Then it was a free and easy activity for the kids to explore and enjoy themselves at YuKids Island.
Noticed that Qeeb suker main yang jenis relax2 jer and if ada budak yang excited sangat datang main he will find other spot.
Mamanyer of course nak posing sama. This is the only spot yang seemed 'safe' for me to duduk :P
Also got the chance to borak2 ngan cikgu Zaidi yang datang with his family. Nih lagik larrr lama tak jumpe hahaha. Chekgu computer kesayangan ramai kat SMPB dolu nie dari zaman my sis punyer batch sampai mine. When i was in form 1 or 2, dia baru dapat baby laki and that boy now dah 20 years old. Homaiii!
Soo, thank you Dila for the invitation and it was great meeting you again after skian lama! Hope the twins had a wonderful birthday celebration and enjoy all the pressies they received.
I also wanna share the birthday gifts i got for the twins. Bought 2 rocket coin box and put some alphabets to differentiate abang and adik punyer. Sib baik lah tgh rajin and ada free time nak buat benda nie. Kalo tak mmg balut the hadiah as it is jer.
Siap tampal alphabets. Nothing much, but the rockets are cute, colorful and can be a nice decor as well. Hope they will like it wpon tak reti pakai lagik hehe.
Dah siap wrapped! Hoho cam bukan hadiah for kids lak gayanyer, tapik tuh jer stock wrapper yang ada sbb tak sempat nak gi beli baru.

Car Breakdown at Federal Highway
A quick entry about what happened to me yesterday morning. Ok first on Monday tuh, i was worried about my car because ada symptoms engine performance drop gila2 and susah nak naik bukit eventho it's very landai. But since baru jer repair the car on Saturday which cost me RM1.6K, i thought the fixing can be wait till weekend. So on Tuesday around 7am i went out to work, i noticed the same problem susah nak naik bukit wpon tekan minyak cam gila. Kalo org follow behind tuh sure rasa cam aku saja tanak tekan minyak. Time tuh cam pikir takpelah bawak slow2 asal sampai.
Lepas bayar tol batu 3 trus ngadap traffic jam. Baru nk tekan minyak lg skali tetiba enjin terpadam. Feeling cam computer tetiba shut off biler black out gituh! Pulas2 ignition, the car refused to start. Alamakkk PANIC! Keta dah besusun kat blakang. Such an awkward moment ever when it feels like you park your car in the middle of highway with heavy traffic! The first thing i did was pasang hazard light. Tangan dah meghaban pegang tepon nak call Jeeb...sib baik ada lg battery, and sib baik dia tgh cuti. Then i called my boss informing my situation...basically mintak EL lah.
Lepas tuh tatau nak buat aper, i update FB and Twitter *cough* konon2 tgh busy pegang tepon nak call someone. Suddenly a police traffic pulled over and asked apa problem...so i demo sket pulas ignition keta takleh start. Then he said just tukar gear and dia nk tlg tolak. So dia tahan traffic 3 lane occay...all by himself and then pushed my car sampai tepi. Hohhhh lega gila! Sib baik dia tolak keta gerak...kalo tak gerak? Maknanya aku pon kene turun sbb berat sgt and tolak sama huahuahua! Tak sempat nak cakap tengkiu kat police traffic tuh sbb dia dah pegi amik motor dia yg kat tetengah jalan, honked me and hilang. Aaar pape pon thank you so much! Lega gila dah dapat duduk tepi lane and tak kaco orang.
Time nih dah start hujan lebat. Memang dugaan sungguh. Jeeb sampai and checked engine but there's nothing much he can do so i called tow truck. Boleh plak number 1800 kat sticker Etiqa tuh dah outdated, rasa cam baru jer last year tampal sticker tuh. Dah nak kene google plak carik number baru. We waited for about 1hr 10mins, duduk dalam keta yg berkabus2 ala2 romen-tik. Tapik romen-tak yerrrr! Hahaha nih member jeeb lah ni dok buat lawak kat FB. Then ada polis peronda stopped by and dropped 3 cones for safety :) Thank you for that jugak because cuak ada banyak keta laju suker masuk emergency lane.

Felt so sleepy, tired and waited for another almost 2 hours for them to fix the car. I couldn't even bothered to know whats the cause, but from what jeeb said ada water hose leaked yang caused keta overheat and battery kong. Sempat balik kejap sbb nak gi washroom and rest for 30mins and went back. Kejap jer dah petang, sigh.
But in spite of the whole incidents, ada good things happened as well :) So syukur i shouldn't really be complaining...well except that i'm on a tight budget now. Thankful ada orang tolong, glad Jeeb is around and alhamdulillah keta dah ok. Hope tahan lama2 sket before due for next maintenance.

Felt so sleepy, tired and waited for another almost 2 hours for them to fix the car. Birthday Tasya 2012 @ A&W
Last 2 weeks before puasa, we went to one of my colleague, Azman punyer daughter 1st birthday party at A&W. The baby girl's name is Adreana Tasya, and mata redup dia hoyooo sangat cantek! Tried to amik gambar portrait of her time baru sampai but camera setting x set betol yet (read: x reti pakai) so all her pix blurry >.<
The party crowd and decor. Yang besnyer sini ada private section for birthday party so customer lain yang datang nak makan tak nampak langsung kitowang kat dalam. I think A&W PJ nih one of the oldest outlet.
Qeeb as predicted, dia buat hal sendiri jer and i can say quite polite biler main kat tmpt yang dia tak familiar...as in tak lasak lah hehe. But kene perati gak dia jalan mana, sbb dia jalan lalala sana sini x tgk orang.
Bagi duduk sblah awek, trus terbantot dia nak makan nugget tuh hahaha. Oh ya, awek tuh lar Tasya the birthday girl :) Comel kannn?! I love her party dress!
