Trip to Penang

Pagi nak betolak pegi Penang tuh we managed to run 2 errands. First was to renew my driving license. Buat 5 tahun period but unfortunately they retrieve from the MyKad punyer old photo. Which i haven't update yet. Urghhh i hate the photo! Then we went to a new tadika that we planned to enroll Qeeb there and proceed with registration. Almost noon baru bertolak pegi Penang and we were about 20 minutes behind from abg Kamal's car. Caught up with them at R&R Tapah, had lunch there and continue to drive till we reached Penang about 5ish pm. We stayed at Vistana Hotel & Apartment, our room for 3 days.

We had dinner and coffee at the hotel that night. Tak kluar pi memana because hujan lebat non-stop since petang. Jeeb did his sketching and Qeeb played pc game next to our table. The coffee bar was quite new and the barista chic cantek plak tuh hehe.

 

Dinner malam sebelom, koaytiaw tak rasa apa. And breakfast the next morning. Ramai betol orang sampai penoh sumer meja and nak jalan pon susah.

 

Tengahari tuh we went to kenduri kat Sg. Ara, Jeeb's cousins punyer kenduri kawen. The main reason the whole family datang Penang. Both cousins laki nikah date dekat2, so the wedding reception blah laki buat serentak sambut menantu.

 

Cuaca alhamdulillah ok. Terik jugak lah sampai nak senyum depan camera pon takleh tahan men-sepet-kan mata. I wore blue, cam kene plak ngan wedding theme depa hehe. Since this house ngadap main road, Qeeb suker laa dapat tgk all sorts of cars lalu sampai tanak balik. Biler paksa balik, dia ngamok cakap 'Naqeeb nak pegi Penang!!!' Adoiyaiii dah 1 hari setengah kat Penang dahhh nak oii nak pi Penang mana lagik.

Petang tuh we went to Queensbay Mall and had dinner there. Jeeb's feeling feverish so balik rehat kat hotel. I had a good rest too, got to read my Shopaholic to the Stars with a coffee while watching Madagascar on tv.

The next morning we had the last breakfast at the hotel. Checked out at 12 and singgah Sg. Ara again to visit the relatives. There was this little boy yang super friendly (luper dah nama aper) and nak kawan ngan sumer orang. Cute betoi!

 

We used the second bridge to exit from the island. Rasa panjang and sunyi jer this bridge. Tol siap ada arch summore.

 

Qeeb tidoq sampai we stopped at R&R Sg. Perak. We made a right decision to stop and solat there. Because all the next R&R queue panjang giler and the traffic was very bad. Unfortunately Qeeb can't sleep dah after the first stop so he was bored but behaved in the car. Terkebil2 dalam gelap layan tgk wiper and the long traffic. Sampai Guthrie pon jam yaamatz! We had to cancel our plan to pick up the maid kat Ampang because dah too tired and Jeeb pon still having fever. Reached home about 11pm, had a quick dinner, clear the bags and laundries. Sebaik takde problem to fall asleep because I have to be in the office the next morning T___T.

 

Tatau biler lagik nak gi Penang. But every time pegi sana tak dapat nak food hunt and check out the wall art yang famous tuh. Insya Allah, ada rejeki pegi lagik and definitely not during school holidays.
