GLC Trip to Penang 2019

The GLC went to Penang last April. It was just a one day trip but it was well spent even though our time there was shorten because of the flight reschedule. I thought this round it will be full attendance but unfortunately Jannah unable to make it towards the date. K. Moji plak buat seprais when she updated dalam group tak dapat join tetiba main cak2 kat Penang Airport, so imagine our surprise! Her flight was earlier than us.

  

  

 

So why Penang? Because Zaza stays there! Besides there is no better way to explore the town with local, right! When we arrived, Zaza was already at the airport ready to pick us up. Reunited!

  

To make sure everyone cargas throughout the day, breakfast is a must. We had nasi kandaq at Cargas Cafe which was nearby to my kampung area actually. I remembered K.Nani brought me and sis there once.

  

  

Outside the cafe, there's an old building. With rustic background and morning lights, the selfie/wefie frenzy begins.

  

  

      

  

We quickly made a move to Armenian Street where most of the famous street art is. Alhamdulillah parking sumer senang. Dengan jalan yang narrow with unique shops, decor and painting at every nook and corner, it is best to explore the area with foot. But get ready to sweat!

  

 

  

Near Kongsi area. This place ada admission free, so we skipped because nak kejar time to explore other places.

Ingat nak masuk this The Book Sandwich Restaurant, beria dah amik gambar kat depan kedai. Skali tak halal rupanyer haha. So nextttt....

  

  

Walked a bit further and found this cozy color of Le Petit Four cafe. We had coffee and air cond to cool down!

We walked back to the car and made a move to the next kedai makan, Restoran Kapitan. Kitowang pusing the place twice to get a parking nearby. Amazing because the area tak banyak parking.

  

  

Zaza said the place is famous with chicken milani. But tgk dalam menu nama romali. I think it's the same one. We also ordered tandoori so can share2 makan. Rasa cam ala2 butter chicken gravy and the tandoori pon super empuk! Sedapppp!

  
   

After makan we went straight to the BookXcess in Gurney Paragon. Main reason was to check out the cool big bookshelf. Cam susah jugak lah nak amik gambar because ada tiang and low light.

  

  

  

I bought a jigsaw puzzle and stationeries for the kids here. Some of us started to writing the GLC book sbb takot tak sempat. The place memang best gila to lepak and read books or do work.

Our last pit stop was Jeruk Pak Ali.

  

Timing pon cun jer when Zaza dropped us off at the Airport. Bid goodbye and semoga ada rezeki jumpa lagik! Yang kelakonyer time nak balik lak kelam kabut sbb sumer cam blur ingatkan flight reschedule lagik so kitowang pon lek lek jer pegi solat dolu. Padahal yang displayed tuh take off time, boarding should be earlier. Sib baik lah surau pon dekat jer so boleh dengar announcement. Mas yang duduk jauh kat Starbucks tak tau pape. Lol!

  

  

We had a quick dinner at Terminal 2 before berpecah. Tak dapat nak tulis berjela kat GLC book sbb rushing nak berciter, makan, transfer pics and socmed :P Shara pon isik cukup syarat sambil diri summore. Alhamdulillah all is well and we arrived home safely. Glad it was a successful trip without any hiccups.
