Cooking Once in a Blue Moon

Honestly i rarely cook these days after bibikless. Moment terpaling rajin is masak nasi and prepared one dish, lepas tuh top up with something else from kedai makan. Yes i’m those moms yang scroll menu at Grab because i’m too worn out to cook or go grocery shopping. How i pujuk myself that it’s ok not to be ok is the fact that i’m still feeding the kids and the only thing they complained once in a while is my choice of food. I prefer to order lauk while they just happily settled with big yellow M.

Anyways, today i made the effort to cook after the groceries arrived plus it’s a public holiday dah dapat enough rest cengkononnyer. Barang basah like ikan, udang etc dah jarang beli so tuh yang berkobar2 nak masak couple of dish terus. But oh boy banyak pulak benda nak kene buat. Unload all the groceries masuk lemari and fridge tuh pon Jeeb dah tolong masukkan half, wash2, masak nasi, potong itu ini, masak lauk, basuh pinggan. Kecahhhhh! Know2 jer 2 jam dah berlalu!

Zafeer was full or encouragement. He checked on me in the kitchen and said sedapnyer bau tak sabar nak makan. Biler dah makan he kept saying hebatnyer mama masak semua nie! Nampak sangat it’s a rare occasion lol! So yeahhh biler tengok dorang makan bertambah2, mmg literally hilang penat (for few seconds only). But biler tgk pinggan mangkuk cawan bertimbun balik terus rasa declared sakit kaki.

After today, i think it’ll takes a lot of courage to go through the hassle again. Lol! I memang kagum dengan moms yang rajin masak every day, nampak cam senang jer dia masak campak2 siap but behind the scenes tang nak kemas tuh hopkos lah tak nampak dalam video, siap bento tok anak bawak pergi school. But i know my own limit to manage own stress and sanity so no judging or kecam2 because you do you!

♥️♥️♥️
