Day 2 @ Singapore
The following day, we managed to bangun quite early and checked out from the hotel. Luckily we can leave our luggage or else we're stucked with the heavy load. Then we had breakfast at McD @ McCafe nearby the hotel.
Hot Coffee for Cheep and Mocha frap for me. Wouldn't it be nice if kat Msia ada McCafe because the ice blended is quite nice and the price is affordable.
Then we walked to MRT which is also very near the hotel and bought tickets to City Hall where the Esplanade is and the cost is SGD2. When returned the ticket, we can redeemed SGD1 back.
I wanted to explore more places like Chinatown, Bugis street, Clarke Quay and so on but unfortunately we don't have much time so we tried to be realistic and jalan mana yang sempat sajalah without feeling the pressure to rush in each place we stopped.
On the way nak gi Esplanade, found lots of shops and restaurants. All the undergrounds route (MRT and Malls) are interconnected so we can hop from one place to another without naik ground level pon. After 20mins walking because banyak stop tgk barang, we finally reached Esplanade. One of the first thing we saw was James Ingram's poster. Concert Siti Nurhaliza and M.Nasir pon ada but that one dah sold out (lagik laku). LOL!
Then went outside the building to amik gambar. Well one of the things yang Esplanade is famous for is the roof because of the uniqueness so kenelah amik gambar :P Keluar jer pintu baru noticed the weather is amazingly hot! Punyer lama jalan kat bawah tanah we didn't realize the weather dah tukar jadik panas. However biler panas, amik gambar lawa kan kan? So tahan jelahh wpon mata dah telampau sepet time tuh sampai berair2 mata :P
Then jalan to the other side of the Esplanade to see if there are other entrance. Suddenly we saw the famous Merlion statue on the other side of the lake. Hohhh haruslah pegi ke sana. It was a short distance walk but we were sweating buckets. Later i found out that my feet ada tan line from the crocs i'm wearing. Sangat buruk occay!
Dengan rasa agak terseksa, we managed to sampai at this signboard. Turun tangga terus nyorok bawah bridge and try to cool down! Fuhhhh kalo ada ekon time nie besnyer! Then serah diri sket2 into the sunlight sbb nak amik gambar. At this time we started to use tripod because it's easier to capture photos for both of us. If soh orang amikkan takleh nak posing banyak2 kali hehe.
Lepas rasa agak puas amik gambar kat stu baru gerak balik. We still have some last minute shopping to do at Orchard hehe.
We stopped again for few minutes under the bridge and discovered the natural lighting between these 2 road is awesome! Macam amik gambar kat studio plak hehe. Then we hit the road again but decided not to use the bridge because matahari terik direct to skin sangat, so we used the Esplanade Park. Jalan jauh sket tapik sejuk sket mata tengok pokok.
On our way back to the MRT we passed through Raffles City shopping center. We had our lunch there, another round of Moss burger.
Cheep persuaded me to choose one of the tshirts or else i'll be going back empty handed. Hehe!
After purchased the last item here and there we went back to the hotel, claimed our luggage and waited for taxi in front of the hotel. Luckily the hotel guy suggested to use Copthorne bus which was parked in front of DFS (next to the hotel) and it's free! I'm still curious naper ada Copthorne bus kat stu but not bothered to ask the driver. Yang penting the bus heading to the right destination :) After registered at the Odyssey S'pore counter, baru lah boleh relax2 tunggu bus sambil browsing. Again the bus was punctual and we leaved at 5pm sharp.

At the entrance of Esplanade ada exhibition aper tah. It's colorful and i like it hehe.

Then i saw this craft shop and i was hyperventilate.
See all the craft punch by Martha Stewart? Soon all of it will be mine huhu!
The last stop was at the new Ion Mall. Sedar2 rupanye baru abes ujan kat luar tuh.
One of the shop that we wanted to check out was the newly opened Uniqlo and they're having opening sale ^.^
Cheep persuaded me to choose one of the tshirts or else i'll be going back empty handed. Hehe!

Unfortunately when we reached KL, and it was like less than 10mins to reach the Avenue K, the bus tyre burst. Rupanyer the driver already knew that the tyre dah flat but tried to continue the journey sampai lah 2 tyres dah meletop and takleh jalan langsung. So due to that, the bus contributed some traffic jam at jalan tun razak. LOL! But we're ok with it since dah dekat sangat ngan my office. So all we have to do is hail a taxi, paid RM3 and my car is already waiting at the basement :D
To sum it all, time tuh i felt relieved dah sampai, happy that ive made it to Spore and thrilled dapat experience all that with my traveling partner Cheep. I wish for many many more vacations for both of us in the future. In the car i called my sis nak cakap dah sampai KL and at the same time she informed me that Cheep's bunting dah displayed in Pjaya. What a wonderful news! So dengan excited nyer trus pegi Putrajaya malam tuh jugak. LOL! One of the advantage as a married couple, i can follow him anytime even though it's almost midnight without worrying about curfew and permission hehe. Biler sampai PICC and saw all the buntings, i tumpang bangga sat and sonot ohhh tgk design diprinted besaq and gantung banyak2 camtuh. Read the details at Bem69's blog.
