Qeeb's 7th Birthday

It's Naqeeb's birthday on 30th October. I've been flooding the same photos kat FB and instagram hak hak. But this blog always deserves more photos.

We collected the cake one day earlier from le Choutte Macaron. The initial plan was to celebrate on Monday, on his birth date itself. But after a few thoughts, why not just celebrate one day earlier since most of family members were around.

Had a quick lunch at Vivo while waiting for Kekami to join us. 

  
  

Petang tuh amik gambar sket kat rumah first. I just need few good shots in calm mode. So i have more photos to choose from to masukkan dalam photobook.

Yang bestnyer time collect this cake, Qeeb excitedly pointed out ada Roblox cake inside the chiller. Since i don't know much about Roblox, i don't know which cake he was referring to. He didn't know it was his. When the guy took it out nak masukkan dalam box, i said 'It's yours, Qeeb!' trus muka control malu-malu suka. Sebaik laaa dia recognized it's Roblox. We trusted Farhad's skill bab2 decorate the cake nie, so we let him surprise us.

To my dearest Qeeb,

My heart swelled with pride and relief as you were gaining the skills you needed to survive in this world. But of course i'm also (always) worried of many more milestones to come.

The milestones from here are less defined - wisdom, courage, discernment and more. There are no checklists. It’s no longer about knowing how to sit or stand, but when to sit or stand. It’s no longer about knowing how to walk, but where to walk. It’s no longer about knowing how to talk, but which words to use.
