Ramadhan Treats

Bila bulan Ramadhan, we get to arrange balik awal, the adrenaline to beat the traffic, rushed back to prepare (or order) food for buka puasa, solat and teraweh, prepare everything else for the next day, sahur and repeat for the next 30 days. 

That is also the beauty of Ramadhan. Everyone spend more time beribadat, berjemaah, reciting the Quran, charity and macam2 lagi good deeds yang orang berebut nak kejar. 

 

Some extra time during weekdays with my little family at night outside. Jarang skali kluar malam2 cenggini haha. Something to look forward jugak lepas teraweh tuh rasa dahaga gila. So pueh sungguh dapat minom iced drinks.

 

We hang out at Zus Coffee. Ada skali tuh terjumpe an old acquaintance, ada jugak hikmahnyer haha. 

.

May Allah SWT accept all our good deeds and ibadah. Semoga all of us ketemu dengan malam Lailatul Qadr. Tak lupa juga semoga semua ibadah that we will continue after this.

Sahur in Ramadhan

Part of the boys childhood, here are some sleepyheads faces during sahur. Since they are too sleepy so takde selera nak makan beria sangat. They wanted something simple and yang boleh chew sambil pejam mata lagik bagus. Usually it’s roti kaya, roti serunding, pau, nuggets, sausages, mini pizza, omelette. 

    

Alhamdulillah, senang kerja mama. But most of the times Qeeb, Zafeer and Jeeb semua nak benda lain2. So kelentang kelentung jugak lah kat kitchen for about 20 mins to prepare. 

Bab kejutkan dorang bangun, i leave it to Jeeb. Because skali kejut jer dah bangun. If it’s me yang kejutkan, sure buat tatau. Qeeb dapat puasa penuh while Zafeer ada terciduk skali where he forgot dia tgh puasa tapik termakan cekelat, second time dia gi follow kawan dia pergi kantin because he was super thirsty (according to him), and a couple of days more he was on fever so i had to bagi ubat and keep him hydrated. 

Bought NR Tart

The famous NR Tart nih kat SA jer but tak pernah pergi before this because previous years eventhough dorang buat pre-order tak pernah dapat slot haha. And usually i just ordered kuih from kawan2 yang meniaga kat office. But this year triggered because Qilah nak pesan, and this year pulak NR Tart tukar strategy. Siapa yang nak beli kene walk-in with max 5 tubs per person.

Awal2 time dia announced tuh i terus pergi beli…twice. So dapat lah 10 tubs (Qilah 5, Juju 2, myself 1, bagi kat my sis and boss one each). After second week tuh, Qilah shared their socmed updates yang they have to close temporarily for few days, and after that extend another few days, lepas tuh tutup terus. Tatau lah what was the issue, but glad dapat beli yang batch awal2 tuh and alhamdulillah sedap!

It’s first day puasa! I chose to WFH today because i foresee the traffic is gonna be bad. Tambah lak ujan ptg tadi, so i’m glad made the right decision.

Hope our Ramadhan is filled with May our hearts get kinder, our bodies healthier and our souls find relief in this holy month. With God’s will, may all our prayers and good deeds be accepted. Have a blessed Ramadhan!

Farewell & Wedding @ Office

It was a 2 in 1 celebration. Farewell for abg Halim yang dah nak retire and also to celebrate the newly wed, Neo & Aud.

    

To set the ‘wedding’ mood, Nina ordered nasi kenduri, Rhxn bawak bunga manggar, most of us pakai baju Hani Mokh macam the dulang girls. We also pasang kompang sound time walk down the ‘aisle’, lol! They already had their traditional reception, so this one we turned it into malay wedding style.

RPS level 9 big family

Errands Day on 1-AL

Productive day running errands since morning. Hangkut barang and the kids pergi transit. They were sooo not looking fwd to go to school 😂 zafeer complained cuti tak cukup, naqeeb pulak stress nak bersiap pakai uniform from transit. He hates the tie part especially and then the thought of walking from gate bawah to secschool naik bukit. 

Then pergi school koperasi to buy badges. Replacing the earlier ones that i bought but somehow missing dalam rumah when i distracted cari sewing kit. Alang2 kat situ beli skali baju PJ since dorang kene pakai berderet hari and rezeki ada size S for qeeb. I bought another tie because nk try cari tempat to make it instant. Too bad today x dpt park dalam so i had to menapak back and forth ke parking luar kat pak guard

Next stop was nearby book shop to beli book wrapper. Dah parked and bayar parking semua, masuk kedai just to find out book wrapper abes! Terpaksa skip and went to the next pit stop.

Dropped by j&t to courier back baju melayu qeeb that i bought online. Telebih besar so i had to return it. Bila dah wassep the seller yang i just posted it, baru lah nk bagi instructions step by step yang i have to write a note, letak duit return postage etc. adoii time memula i tanya hari tuh just jawab boleh tukar je. But that one eventually sorted. 

Then i went to Lotus dengan harapan tailor booth situ can jahit the name tag quickly. I was not keen to go there because last time the bangla was super kerek with me. But today im not sure whether it’s the same person but he was ok. Dah explained2 Zafeer punyer badge and name tag nak tampal mana baru prasan Qeeb nyer badge still dalam keta. Jalan laju2 gi car park and back to the tailor booth, arghh kene gak buat 2x kerja. Once dah explained, the tailor said come back in 1 hour. So i had no choice to shop at Lotus to kill the waiting time. I was planning to buat later because takot meat rosak or anything. But gotta use the time wisely. 

So after about 40mins i managed to grab some frozen stuff, sauces, toiletries and such. Believe it or not, book wrapper here in Lotus also sold out. I had to pay RM1.50 for 3 plastic bags because i didn’t bring shopping bag. I had to give up my lemon and banana because i forgot to weigh it…cis! Singgah MrDIY pulak to cari book wrapper and yang tinggal only the roll ones! Goshhh seksa nyer nak kene balut satu2 nanti so time consuming :( Then mengangkut lah all the heavy bags and singgah tailor booth to collect the uniforms. Glad that it was ready and paid rm16. Next to it ada empire sushi, so i bought inari lobster nak alas perot. Dah hungreh!

I striked out couple of items in my list so now i can straightaway to setia alam. 30mins away :( but gotta cari jugak baju raya i just want to settle it before bulan puasa. At umbik*ds i was the only customer so it was kinda awkward. Went to the second floor where the latest collection is. Dah tried 2 sizes and matchy2 with the skirt, but the love feeling time pakai tak ada because of the material and big print tak sesuai with my body size. Then turun balik first floor and tgk old collection and found one top that i liked. Not meeting the main objective but grab jelah untuk pakai gi office. 

I can’t resist to singgah Pokoks pulak since it’s just nearby. Eventho i’m supposed to leave the area in 15minutes. I spent about 30mins at Pokoks trying out few baju…same feeling. No spark :( Haihh gotta lose a lot of weight bebeh! Weather dah panas and i was really thirsty. So singgah Zus for a cup of coffee. 

Driving back took 32minutes because i took a wrong turn and waze recalculate jalan tah mana2. Sigh. Tak jadik nak wash my car because i’m feeling tired and dehydrated. Straight to home and hangkut barang, unpack etc. Home sweet home. 

Hope Qeeb and Zafeer managing well on their first day of school today. 

Qeeb Farewell Gathering @ Pizza Hut, Extreme Park

Since the school buat farewell year 6 celebration at school, the mommies planned ourselves to do another one so that the kiddos have a memorable one. Nothing extra but a get-together at PH Extreme Park and did some simple games. 

  

Thanks to mommy Yana yang coordinated all. I had to leave halfway because duty call at boss’s place. 

  

The boys sampai2 jer ajak main game dolu. Plus halal gap seatings haha.

When Qeeb was done, Jeeb went to pick him up because i was still stucked with biz plan discussion. 

  

Hope all his classmates cherished the moment. Insya Allah dah besar2 nanti looking back these photos will bring a smile. 

Gift Hunt

Went to couple of places to find some pressies for Qeeb to give to his school friends. For boys specifically. Yang murah and nice. First i went to Kaison…macam2 benda tingin nak beli but not necessary. Got banyak options for bluetooth earbuds but semuanyer sesuai for girls. 

  

  

  

Then went to Noko Bukit Jelutong. After seems like forever, i decided to buy the black tumbler and few others stuff yang tak related and probably unnecessary at that point of time. Bought some balloons too for photo props but takde huruf A. So bought extra alphabet I for manual hack to form A. 

    

Treated myself a coffee after that. Me-time sambil termenung tengok resit. Tengok list of items yang i shouldn’t buy hak hak…rather too late :P

Bawak balik tumbler tuh jer Qeeb punyer expression dah cukup dahhh that he’s reluctant to give it to his friends. Apparently because of the cursive font. I showed to Jeeb to get some buy-in but dia gelak jer like no-wonderlah-qeeb-tak-suka kind of gelak. Mencikkkk! So tak dapat lah i nak balut2 malam tuh, sib baik ada lagik 1 hari for me to carik lain. Geram slagik tak settle. So i went to Noko Bangsar pulak to find notebook instead. Tengok2 gak tumbler design lain kot boleh exchange but yang ada pon semua cam too kiddy-type. Yang chevron design pon tak cukup. 

  

  

So to be safe, i bought notebook jelah. Dah berkenan this design tak cukup quantity pulak geram sungguhso terpaksa beli half2. 

Cute lah this ceramic cup. But takot gak nak pakai cheap ceramic for food/drink.  

  

Finalleh Qeeb approved and i can wrap up everything. Some pens, mechanical pencil and notebook for the boys!
