Trip to Sabah - Day 2

 Day 2 

• hiking geli2 at Mesilou 3sixty. Best to start hiking at 630am or earlier if nk catch sunrise
• Check out and drive back to KK
• Check in at Shangrila Tg Aru
• Dinner at KK Waterfront

After subuh we got ready to hike! I’m afraid that the kids won’t be interested but they seemed hyped about it. Best to start hiking at 6.30am or earlier if nak catch sunrise. But it was already 6.30 when we got ready, so changed of plan instead of going to Sosodikon Hill which is about 15mins away, we just went to the nearest Mesilou 3sixty. Sebabnya in 15mins jer confirmed dah terang benderang and panas. Sampai je Mesilou 3sixty, paid for the entrance fee and we started trekking. It was a simple trail but halfway tuh ada tangga yang Qeeb reluctant nak naik. Dia punyer emo tuh tatau nak habaq. 

Since Qeeb emo, Zafeer usually will acted the opposite haha. So he was the eager one nak tried out everything. By the time we reached to the top mmg dah start panas. Dahler pakai baju PM knitted sweater, weather pagi time pakai bestler sejuk, but lepas tuh panas! Anyways put aside panas, i love the majestic view and fresh air. 

Then we went for breakfast at Sulap lagik satu tuh, so-so jer the food but lapar makan jer lah aper yang ada. The layout turun bukit is very interesting and cantik. There’s a sungai too, would be nice to check it out but we are crunching time nak reach KK so that we can maximise our time at Shangrila. Balik bilik and bersiap2….saw room lain busy check out and i should’ve double check dah time tuh. But takde pon caretaker cakap check out kol 11, keciwa sungguh bila time nak return the key i have to pay jugak for late checkout RM50. Nego pon tak boleh because i didnt tell them earlier. They saw me ironing my shawl kat luar time dorang tgh start mengemas takde pon ank tanya whether i want to opt for late checkout, just toleh2 tgk jer. Oh well! 

On the way to KK, singgah makan kepci. Then reached Shangrila Tg Aru around 3pm dah boleh terus checked in. Breathtaking view masya Allah. Our room was at kinabalu wing, super cosy and smells good. We went to the pool and makan eskrem. Then around 6pm dah ramai gathered near beach front securing spots to watch sunset. Another rezeki dapat tgk clear sunset at the horizon. Everything is just beautiful. 

We went for seafood dinner at KK Waterfront. Seafood was fresh and very very affordable. Ada orang datang bawak bakul jual buah bagus gak dari jual tissue. Time jalan balik ke keta tiber lak air betakung kat canvas cover terkena Jeeb. Abes basah and not too mention gross. We also arranged to return the car kat hotel, 2 nice young guys datang amik. It’s their business, rajin buat content kat tiktok jugak banyak followers. So settle car rental, our next adventure is just within the hotel and a boat.
