Trip to Sabah - Day 1

Day 1 

• KUL to KK
• Collect rental car at airport
• Drive to Kundasang (2 hrs+)
• Lunch at restoran selera kebun
• Tour dairy farm resort
• Check in Sulap homestay
• Dinner at hooga, farmville

We took Malindo Air from KUL. The flight was delayed but at least we got window seat. Zafeer was super excited but airplane tak gerak2 sampai tertido tunggu, lol! Dalam flight baru nak arrange for keta sewa, last minute i know! Hahaha if takde pasrah jelah carik keta sewa dalam airport. But the one that i liaised with earlier, managed to accommodate my last minute request and we secured keta saga baru. Alhamdulillah, save time sikit because by the time we kluar jer dorang dah siap tunggu. 

The drive to Kundasang took 2 hours. It was a bumpy ride, membukit and green scenery. Cantik sangat and we can notice the temperature change become more cooling. Ingat nak gi Dairy Farm terus because they closed at 4.30pm (if im not mistaken) but we were so hungry gotta stop for makan first wpon the boys just slept all the way. Nak carik kedai makan halal yang not out of the way satu hal jugak yer haha, but im glad this nama kedai yang i saved before mmg same route. It’s called Restoran Selera Kebun. Makan sedap, ada chicken wing and siap package kucen melompat. 

Finally sampai the Dairy Farm and chans gila the view. Tix kene beli online. But the cow dung smell way too strong that we dont’t really enjoy it. I ok jer demi gambar but Qeeb lah yang bising nak amik gambar pon tak aman. We had the famous gelato as well. On the way tuh ada nampak alpaca farm nearby.

We checked in at Sulap Homestay. Dia ada 2 areas, satu yang cam rumah with few bilik and the other one is rumah satu2 which lagik cantik but lagik mahal. View situ mmg cantik gila, but i’ll cover that in the Day 2 post. The room that we got simple jer, 2 queen beds, spacious, toilet pon clean but lampu a bit malap. They provided towels, and our room literally sebelah tempat we parked our car jer.  

Rest kejap then we went out for dinner. By 6ish jer hari dah gelap. Jalan nak ke Hooga, Farmville was super gelap too. I was grateful it was kind of dekat so takde lah nak kene layan jalan gelap lama sangat…cuak gak ah haha. In contrary, Farmville itself super bright dengan lampu colorful. It was a very cooling weather and food pon sedap. Yang penting ada coffee!

We stayed a bit for ice cream and music. Then we made way back to homestay. Prolly it was a snore fest malam tuh because xde yang bangun and complained bising pon lol!
